Edward Ryan, 42 St. Martin's Estate, Cavan, formerly Limerick City, August 20th 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Will be sadly missed by his loving family Susan, Carl, David, Marlena, Neill and Linda, his adored grandchildren, brother Gordon, sisters Caroline, Josephine and Mary (Limerick), nieces, nephews (Limerick), all his relatives and many friends.

Due to Government and HSE regulations, Edward's funeral and burial will be private to family and close friends, please, while they in turn observe social distancing and wear face coverings at all times. The funeral cortège will leave the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, on Monday morning at 11am, travelling to The Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial will take place after Mass in the family plot in Cullies Cemetery.

Joan Patricia O'Connoll (née Lynch)

Gormanstown, Kilcullen, Kildare / Cavan

The death has occured of Joan Patricia O'Connell (neé Lynch), Sancta Maria, Gormanstown, Kilcullen and formerly of St. Martin's, Griffinstown, Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath and Carrick-Finea, Co.Cavan.

After her final of many illnesses, bravely borne at Naas General Hospital, Joan died in the tender care of staff surrounded by her family.

A cherished wife of Timothy, adored mother of Paul (Dublin), Nuala (Limerick) and Ursula O'Toole. She is survived by her brother Pat Lynch (Dublin) and sister Pauline Olwill (Mullagh). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Sr Margaret Ellen O'Connell (California), son-in-law Padraig O'Toole, daughter-in-law Patricia Costelloe, grandchildren Sorcha O' Connell, Martin,Joan and Sean O'Toole, Martin Hallissey, nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends and wonderful carers.

A private Funeral Mass will take place at 12.30pm on Saturday, 22nd of August in the Church of the Sacred Heart & St. Brigid Kilcullen. Burial to follow immediately afterwards in Gormanstown Cemetery.

Corracloughan, Castleblayney, Monaghan / Laytown, Meath

The death has occurred of Hugh Carragher, Laytown, Co. Meath and formerly Corracloughan, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, Thursday, 20th August 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Josephine. Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by his children John, Peter, Mary, Josephine, Hugh, Bernie, Carmel and Anna, sisters Mae and Rose (New York), brothers Gerard and Michael (New York), daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In line with guidelines issued by the government and the HSE, Hugh’s wake, funeral and burial will be strictly private.

Reposing at his daughter Anna’s home in Ard na Lurgan until removal on Saturday morning via the Monaghan Road arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial afterward in adjoining cemetery.

Lurganboy, Drum, Monaghan

Andrew (Andy) McCaul, Lurganboy, Drum, Co. Monaghan. 19th August 2020, at Cavan General Hospital (after a long illness). Deeply regretted by his loving wife Eileen, son Aidan, daughters Kathleen and Patricia, daughter-in-law Teresa, grandchildren Mark, Aisling and Elisha, sister Teresa (Tessie) Mc Guirk, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his son Aidan's residence, Lurganboy, from Thursday until removal on Saturday arriving at the Church of The Immaculate Conception for 12.00 noon Funeral Mass. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass private to family and friends due to Covid 19 restrictions.
