Sean Hourican

Chicago, USA and formerly of Mulrick, Gowna, Cavan

Hourican Sean, Chicago, USA (formerly of Mulrick, Gowna, Co. Cavan) died peacefully at his home in Chicago November 4th 2020.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Mary, children Kevin, Maura, Edmund, Sheila and Clare, his sons-in-law Doug and Steve, daughter-in-law Kelly and grandchildren.

Sadly missed by his sister Eileen, brothers Hugh, Edmund, Patrick and Joseph, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Fergal Flynn

Kingsbry, Maynooth, Kildare / Monaghan

Flynn, Fergal, Kingsbry, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and late of Tully and Killyconnigan, Monaghan, November 3rd 2020, unexpectedly at home, beloved son of the late Nessa and Finbar, brother of the late Ronan, Conor and Fanchea and son in law of the late Nellie. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rita, children Eimear, Ailbhe and Neil, Eimear's partner Rob, brothers Enda and Barra, sister Aideen, father in law Willie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Due to current government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to leave a message in the condolence page below.

Fergal's Funeral Mass can be viewed on Saturday morning at 11am by going to

As a mark of respect for Fergal, people are welcome to form a guard of honour as the funeral cortege leaves Fergal's residence on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Maynooth for the Funeral Mass, alternatively if you would like to light a candle in Fergal's memory it would be very much appreciated.

Nettie (Teresa) O'Connor

Plantation House, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Peacefully at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary and her sisters Eileen and Kathleen. Sadly missed by her niece Ann (London) (and her husband Kevin), grandnephew Kevin (and his wife Lin), grandniece Tara (and Darren), great-grandnephews William and Laurie, great-grandniece Elin, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Removal at 10.30 a.m. on Friday (06/11/2020), arriving (via Plantation House) at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Calvary Cemetery, Latlurcan.

Margaret O'MAHONY (née Murray)

Bray, Wicklow / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

Margaret O'Mahony (née Murray) of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, passed away peacefully on 4th November 2020, in her 92nd year, in the excellent care of Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray. Beloved wife of the late Gerry, much loved mother of Eileen, Gerard and John, loving mother-in-law of Martin, Ann and Sunghwa and adored grandmother of Niamh, Luke, Niall and Charlotte. She will be sadly missed by all her family, relatives and friends.

A private family funeral service will take place on Friday, 6th November, at 2.30pm in Colliers Funeral Home, Bray and this may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/colliersbray. Following the service, the burial will take place in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray at 3.30pm. No flowers please.
