Chris Crosby

Shamrock Drive, Kingscourt, Cavan / Glasnevin, Dublin

The death has occurred of Chris Crosby, Shamrock Drive, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan and formerly of Cedarwood Grove, Glasnevin, peacefully at his parents’ home, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family, 10th November, 2020.

Chris will be sadly missed by his Mam and Dad, Kathleen and Kit, son Andrew, his sisters Barbara & Lisa, brothers Sean & Derek. Deeply regretted by his niece Christina, nephews John Luke Ben Jason and Tighe, brother-in-law Stephen, sisters-in-law Mary and Liz, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral mass will take place for family in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with cremation afterwards in Glasnevin Crematorium.

Chris’s funeral cortège will travel the route from his parents’ home (Cabra Woods) to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, via Church Street, Main Street, Lower Main Street and Hall Street, on Friday from 9.30am.

Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

Chris’s funeral Mass will be available to view on the Kingscourt Parish Webcam at the following link https://kingscourtparish.ie/watch-live/ at 10am on Friday (13th November). The funeral Mass and funeral cortège will also be available to be streamed and watched at a later stage on the Kieran Bros Funeral Care Facebook page.

Chris’s family would like to recognise the amazing work and dedication of the Kells Palliative Care team for their excellent care and support, who looked after Chris so well in recent weeks.

Derryginny, Ballyconnell, Cavan

November 9th 2020, peacefully at her residence, after a long illness. Sadly missed by her loving husband Gerard, daughter Kate, son Gregory, sisters Mary & Joan, brothers Gerard & William, son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Rex, Skye & Cara, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Rest in Peace.

Removal tomorrow morning, Wednesday, arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell, for funeral Mass at 12 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to government Covid19 restrictions, the house & funeral Mass will be for family & close friends only. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Laura Lynn Ireland Children's Hospice, Dublin c/o Brian Fee Undertakers.

Predeceased by her husband Frank and son Patrick.

Sadly missed by her sons Kevin (Monaghan) and Gerry (Mayo), daughters Ann (Monaghan) and Eileen (Dublin). sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, R.I.P.

Private removal on Tuesday (10/11/2020), arriving at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan at 7.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass tomorrow Wednesday (11/11/2020) at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.
