Joan Jermyn (nee Costello), 30 St Phelim's Place, Cavan, Tuesday, November 17th, 2020, suddenly, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents Sean & Margaret & her sister Valerie. Beloved wife of Jackie & loving mother of Sean (Nat), Derek, Miriam, Christopher, Carol, David, Paul, Damien & Brendan. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Shane & Richard, sisters Bridie & Dolores, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her relatives, good neighbours & many friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Due to current Government & HSE restrictions, Joan's funeral & burial will be private to family only.

Joan's funeral cortège will leave her home in St Phelim's place at 11.30am Thursday morning and proceed to the Cathedral of Saint's Patrick & Felim, Cavan, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. This will be followed by burial in Cullies Cemetery. Those standing along the route are asked to adhere to social distancing regulations, please. Kathleen Walsh (née Lunney)

Craggagh, Balla, Mayo / Blacklion, Cavan

Kathleen Walsh (nee Lunney, Blacklion, Co. Cavan), in Leeds on Oct. 27th 2020, wife of the late John Joe, Craggagh, Balla. Burial in Balla Cemetery on Saturday, Nov, 21st, at 12 noon, funeral is private for family only.

May they rest in peace together, fondly remembered by family and close friends.

Denis Casey

Tattygar, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Denis Casey, Tattygar, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Monday, November 16th 2020. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his wife Kathleen, son Patrick, daughter Ciara, daughter in-law Mairead, son in-law Killian, grandchildren, sisters Patricia and Mamie, brother Mack, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In line with guidelines issued by the government and the HSE, Denis’s wake, funeral Mass and burial will be strictly private to family (limited to 25).

Removal on Thursday, 19th November, from his home at 10.30am, travelling via Laurel Hill, Main Street and York Street, arriving for a private funeral Mass at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Phil (Philomena) Cassidy (née Crowe)

Terrytole, Ballinode, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Phil (Philomena) Cassidy nee Crowe, Terrytole, Ballinode, Co Monaghan on Monday 16th November, peacefully at Mullinahinch House Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Phil will be lovingly remembered by her husband Brian, daughter Claire, son Brian, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Colette, grandchildren Conor, Niall, Emer, Liam, Gavin and Hugh, sister Patricia, sister-in-law Madge, brother-in-law Pat, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters; Tommy, Ciss, Peg, Kitty, Johnny, Pa & Mike.

Phil's remains will leave her late residence Wednesday morning via Ballinode village (please adhere to social distancing guidelines), to arrive at St Mary's Church, Urbleshanney, Scotstown for 11am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Paddy Doogan

Clontrain, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Paddy Doogan. Clontrain, Carrickmacross, 14th November 2020. Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, following a short illness, surrounded by his beloved family. Predeceased by his son Stephen, his parents Patrick & Elizabeth and his sister Betty. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his wife Ann, his sons Declan, Padraic, Mark and the late Stephen, his daughter Elizabeth, daughters-in law Niamh & Priscilla & Mark's partner Ruth, his adored grandchildren Chloe, Corey, Rachael, Ryan, Carla, Danny & Charlie, his brothers Jim, Tony & Barney and his sister Mary, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many friends.

In accordance with current guidelines Paddy's Funeral Mass and burial will take place for family only in St. Patrick's Church, Rock Chapel, upper Magheracloone, on Wednesday, 18th November, at 12noon followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Paddy's funeral cortège will leave his home at 11:30am on Wednesday morning via Rahans Lake, Veldons Cross and Carricknagoan proceeding to St. Patrick's Church, Rock Chapel.

To keep each other safe it is important that we follow the guidelines from the government and HSE, adhere to social distancing, wear face coverings in appropriate circumstances and refrain from handshaking and hugging.

The management and staff of The Anglo-Celt wish to extend their deepest sympathies to the relatives and friends of the deceased. May they rest in peace.
