Thomas (Tommy) Gaffney

Dublin / Kildallan, Cavan

Gaffney (Dublin and formerly Kildallan, Co. Cavan and late of Dublin Bus, Summerhill) 23rd November 2020, peacefully in the care of the staff at The Mater Hospital, Thomas (Tommy), beloved husband of Ellen (Nellie). He will be sadly missed by Nellie and his loving daughters, Deirdre, Siobhán, Irene, Sinéad and Valerie, sons-in-law, his 10 adored grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends and neighbours.

Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Tommy’s Funeral will be held privately for immediate family only. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Gravity Autism Support.

May Tommy Rest in Peace.

Monsignor Barry Wymes

Killanny, Louth / Monaghan / Dublin

The death has occurred of Monsignor Barry Wymes. (Diocese of Arundel and Brighton). 30th October 2020. Son of the former Garda Commissioner Michael Wymes and Anna (née Devlin). Brother of Mary (Randles), Michael and the late Enda. Deeply regretted by his family, relatives and many friends.

Funeral Masses live streamed at 6pm on November 26th and at 12noon on November 27th in the Church of the Holy Name, Esher, Surrey https://www.holynameesher.org.uk/. Private Mass in St. Enda's Church, Killanny, on November 28th followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Colm Donnelly

Agnatamy, Dublin Road, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Colm Donnelly, Aghatamy, Dublin Road, Monaghan, Monday, 23rd November, Feast of St.Columbanus.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Lovingly remembered by his wife, Maureen, sons, Jonathan, Ciaran, Fr Raymond, Karol & Colm and their spouses, Martina, Olga, Sol & Cora. Colm will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Ellen, Brendan, Cian, Joseph & Alexander, his sister Una McGinn and her husband Frank, nieces, nephew and extended circle of family and friends.

Colm's funeral mass will take place, Friday, 27th November, at 11am at St Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan followed by burial in Latlurcan Cemetery. Maureen FRIEL (née Duffy)

Glasnevin, Dublin / Castleblayney, Monaghan

FRIEL, Maureen (née Duffy), (Glasnevin and formerly of Castleblaney) – November 24th 2020, (peacefully), under the wonderful care of the Mater staff. Maureen, beloved wife of the late Hugh and wonderful loving Mum to her children Hugh, Jacinta, Patrick, Valerie, Caroline, Mary, Gráinne and the late Margaret. Very sadly missed by her son-in-law Jim, daughters-in-law Mary and Meleesa, her adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours, carers and friends.

May she Rest in Peace

Due to Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place in Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall on Thursday, November 26th, at 11am followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery. Family flowers only.
