Mary Clarke (née Baugh)

Tulnaskeagh, Bailieborough, Cavan

The death has occurred of Mary Clarke (nee Baugh), Tulnaskeagh, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died unexpectedly on 23rd February 2021, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Philip. Deeply regretted by her sons Micheál and Carl, daughters Geraldine, Breda, Martina and Olive, daughter-in-law Martina, sons-in-law Michi and Paul, sister Bridie Tierney (Maghera), brother-in-law Fr Bosco Clarke (Buckinghamshire), grandchildren Aoife, Shane, Philip, Darren, Hannah, Ciara and Conor and extended family and friends.

Due to current government and HSE guidelines, Mary’s Funeral will be private to family please. Mary’s Funeral procession will leave her residence Thursday at 10.30am to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 11am. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those who are standing along the Funeral Procession.

Rose Donohoe (née Flanagan)

Gortnaleck, Ballyconnell, Cavan

Peacefully in the loving care of her Family and dedicated staff at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Frank and infant son David. Deeply regretted by her son Francis daughters Rosemary and Noeleen Hill (Carrigallen), son-in-law Trevor, daughter-in-law Caroline grandchildren Darren, Jamie, Ryan, Dale, Nevin, Alex, Alesha, Hannah, brothers and sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence for family and close neighbours until removal on Thursday to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Kilnavart for Funeral Mass at 2pm restricted to 10 family members, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. All social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Sean Clarke

Ardmone, Canningstown, Cootehill, Cavan

Sean Clarke, Ardmone, Canningstown, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Died 20th February 2021, tragically following an accident. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy, Hugh and Brian, sisters Susan and Margie.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann, devoted father of Alison and Martin, son-in-law Colm, Martin's fiancee Catherine. His adored Grandchildren Emily, James and Joshua. Sister Kitty Cody, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all his relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Due to current Covid 19 restrictions, Sean's funeral will be private for family members only please. Removal this Wednesday afternoon to St. Brigid's Church, Knockbride West for funeral Mass at 2pm followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Funeral cortege travelling via The Branch.

Frances Madden (née Curran)

Dublin Road, Kingscourt, Cavan / Kilmainhamwood, Meath

The death has occurred of Frances Madden (née Curran), Dublin Road, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Kilmainhamwood and Carlanstown, Co. Meath, peacefully at her home and surrounded by her family, 22nd February 2021.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Paddy, daughters Siobhán & Vicky and sons Greg & Ray. Sadly missed by her brother Patsy, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral mass will take place for family in in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Frances' funeral cortège will travel from the Dublin Road, via Main Street, Lower Main Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt to the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday morning at 9.20 am approximately. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

Mary Street South., Dundalk, Louth / Magheracloone, Monaghan

Frank Duffy, formerly of Mary Street South, Dundalk and Clontrain, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully in the wonderful care of Blackrock Abbey, Nursing Home. 22nd February 2021. Frank son of the late Patrick and Annie and brother of the late Patsy. Frank will be sadly missed by his niece Angela, nephew Fergal, carers John Joe, Rosemary and family, relatives and friends.

Removal via Annagap at 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday (23/02/2021), arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan at 7 p.m.

Harold Millar

Ballinagall, Monaghan

Suddenly on Sunday, 21st February 2021, at Cavan General Hospital. Harold will be dearly missed by his loving family; his wife Doreen, daughters Caroline and Lynn, Jeremy (Caroline's partner), sister Elizabeth Gillanders, mother-in-law Mabel, brother-in-law Trevor Gillanders, sisters-in-law June Gillanders and Eileen Johnston, nieces Beverly (& Stephen Ryan), Sarah & Ellen Johnston, nephew Jordan Johnston and grandnephews Ben and Dylan Ryan.

Resting at his home from 6pm this evening (Monday) until removal on Wednesday, 24th February, at 12.40pm for a Service of thanksgiving in Ballyalbany Presbyterian Church, Monaghan at 1pm. Interment afterwards in Kilmount Presbyterian Churchyard, Cootehill at approx. 3pm.

Due to the current covid restrictions the house and funeral are strictly private. Those who wish to pay their respects along the route may do so. Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times.

Harold's funeral cortege will travel from his home via Old Cross sq., turning right at the traffic lights for the North rd, Coolshannagh, passing the Creamery and turning left for Ballyalbany Church.Returning via the Creamery, Coolshannagh, Glaslough st., Dublin st., turning left at the traffic lights for Kilmount/ Cootehill.
