Rebecca Jane (Betty) Clarke (née Hastings)

Riverview, Beagh, Killinkere, Virginia, Cavan

Rebecca Jane (Betty) Clarke (nee Hastings), Riverview, Beagh, Killinkere, Virginia, Co. Cavan, died 24th February 2021, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband Samuel. Greatly missed by daughter Joan, sons Thomas and John, son-in-law George, daughters-in-law Carol and Sandra, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Leila, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

“Safe in the arms of Jesus”.

Funeral procession will leave her residence Friday at 1.40pm to arrive at Killinkere Parish Church for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Funeral Service will be recorded and uploaded to Clarke’s Funeral Home Facebook page after the funeral link https://www.facebook.com/clarkesfuneraldirectors/. Due to current government and HSE guidelines funeral will be private to family only.

Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those who are standing along the funeral procession. House strictly private please and family flowers only please.

Teresa Fitzpatrick

Cullyleenan, Ballyconnell, Cavan / Swanlinbar, Cavan

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing into heaven of our cherished mother Teresa Fitzpatrick (nee Mc Brien) of Cullyleenan, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan and formerly of London and Sralahan Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan.

She moved peacefully into the arms of Jesus and is reunited with her beloved husband John on 22/2/21 after a short illness.

Teresa will be deeply missed by her daughter Rosemary, son-in-law Tom, grandchildren Conor, Ellie and Killian of Dubai, daughter Teresa and son-in-law Gerry, grandchildren Megan, Rosin, Ciaran and Ellen of Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, son Colm, daughter-in-law Catherine, grandchildren Luke, Aidan and Kirsty of Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, son Kevin and daughter in-law Natalie and granddaughter Hannah of Tring England, son John, daughter-in-law Anna and grandchildren Tara, Conor and Ryan of Virginia, Cavan, extended family, friends & neighbours.

Rest in Peace.

House strictly private please. Removal on Friday morning from her residence at 11:30am arriving at Our lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell for Funeral Mass at 1 o'clock via the Black Rocks, Sralahan & Swanlinbar. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Palliative Care, Cavan General hospital.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions the Funeral Mass & burial in the adjoining cemetery will be for family only.

Ray Harwood

London and formerly Main St., Ballinagh, Cavan

Ray Harwood, London and formerly Main St., Ballinagh, Co. Cavan. February 24th 2021 peacefully in the loving care of his Family and the staff at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his beloved Father Jim, brother Barry and his nephew Kevin. Will be very sadly missed by his loving Mother Esther, sisters Mar and Clare, brothers Jim and Niall, sisters-in-law Mary and Deirdre, brother-in-law John, nephews, nieces, grandnephew and grandnieces, all his family circle and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

The Funeral cortege will travel Via Ballinagh on Friday, turning right to Crossdoney and then continue to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumcor arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to Government restrictions regarding public gatherings and the real threat of Covid 19, Ray’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated privately with his Family of 10 people.

Sue Lynch (née Gilroy)

Lacken Cross, Ballinagh, Cavan

Sue Lynch, Lacken Cross., Who died on 24th. February 2021. Peacefully at Wexford General Hospital with her three girls by her side. Beloved wife of the late Mel and loving and much loved mother of Jackie, Sharon and Aoife. Sue will be sadly missed by her heart broken daughters, sons-in-law, Colm and John, Aoife's partner Cormac, her beloved grandchildren Eoin, Sean, Amy, Diarmuid and Liam, her brother, Sean, sisters Rose, Patricia, Bernie, Gabrielle and Geraldine, sisters-in-law, Bernadette, and Lily, her brother-in-law, P.J. nieces,nephews and her wonderful neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Sue will arrive home to her beloved Lacken on Thursday, the 25th February. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Michael's Church, Potahee, Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Thomas ( Tommy ) Mc Ardle

Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Thomas ( Tommy ) Mc Ardle, Annahale, Castleblayney Co Monaghan, Wednesday 24th February 2021 peacefully in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Kathleen. Thomas will be missed by his brothers Eugene, Sean and their families, his cousin Rose Clerkin (Monaghan) and her family , his good friend Martin, his entire family circle , friends and neighbours.

Máire Gertrude (Maura) McCarron

Clarnagh, Tydavnet, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Máire Gertrude (Maura) Mc Carron, Clarnagh, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 24th February 2021, peacefully at Drumbear Nursing Home, Monaghan, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents, James Leo and Mary Rose and her sister Rosaleen. Deeply regretted and loved by her brother, Gene (Chicago), her sisters, Kathleen (New York), Anna Hughes (New Jersey), Mena Hamill (Dublin), Helena Mc Kenna (Monaghan) and Veronica Turvey (Dublin), her sister in law and brothers in law, many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Maura's remains will leave her residence on Friday at 10.15am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Corracrin, for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care, care of Peter McMahon, Funeral Director, Emyvale or any family member.

Due to current restrictions, Maura's home, funeral and burial will be private to family only. Anyone wishing to pay their respects to Maura, may do so along the route as Maura’s funeral cortege travels from her home to the church. Please ensure to adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times.
