Josephine Duffy (nee Carney)

The death has occurred of Josephine Duffy, (nee Carney), Annyart, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan and formerly of Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Saturday March 13th, peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband George, son Pat, daughter Margaret and grandson Anthony.

Josephine, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her sons and daughters, Kathleen Mc Conville (Blancherstown), Georgie Duffy (Annyart), Bernadette Holland (Carrickmacross), Patricia Kelly (Castleblayney), Anna Marie Kelly (Derrynoose), Geraldine Mc Gale (Keady), daughter in laws and sons in laws, her cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandson, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Josephine’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace. Josephine’s funeral cortège will travel from her home on Monday morning at 11:40am to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for funeral Mass at 12noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Josephine’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family (limited to 10). House private, please. Peter Fabian Finegan

Peter Fabian Finegan, Downhill, Kells Rd., Bailieborough, Co Cavan and late of New York, USA, died March 13, 2021 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his nieces, nephews and carers. Predeceased by his parents John T and Kate, his brothers Paddy, Tom, John and Hugh. Will be sadly missed by his son John Lewis (Philadelphia, USA), his sisters in law Philomena and Maeve, his nieces, nephews, cousins and carers and many friends. May he rest in peace.

Funeral procession will leave Clarke's Funeral Home Monday at 10.40am to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough for funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery.

Bernadette (Berna) Lynch

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Berna) lynch (née Lynch) (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Bailieborough, Kilinkere, Co. Cavan) March 11th 2021 (peacefully) at home. Beloved wife of the late Eamonn and cherished mother of Rosemarie, Bernadette, Liam and the late Fionnuala.

Sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, sister Cepta Flaherty, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
