It is with regret that we note the deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Margaret (Peggy) Mc Ardle (née Mc Enaney)

Drumchonion, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Monaghan / Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) McArdle (nee Mc Enaney) Drumchonion, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, April 24th 2021 peacefully in the loving care of her family, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Maura and Padraig Mc Adam, Ballybay Road, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Mc Ardle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Sean, Brendan, Eamon and Paul, daughters Breda, Maura and Martina, sons-in-law Philip, Padraig and Nigel, daughters-in-law Patty, Patricia and Simona, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchild, relatives and friends.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at her home in Drumchonion, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan. Funeral cortege leaving her home on Monday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Bawn, for 12 noon funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions, Margaret's (Peggy's) funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family and friends (restricted to 25 people).

The Mc Ardle family would like to thank you for your consideration and cooperation at this difficult time. Family homes private, please. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line the route on Monday morning in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect of Margaret. Family flowers only please. Patrick James Finnegan

Patrick James Finnegan, Kilcrow, Dartrey, Co. Monaghan. Saturday April 24th, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Genevieve, sons Seamus, John, Owen and Brendan, daughters Kathleen (Mc Mullen), Patricia (Mills), Linda (West), Caroline (Morris), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Kathleen (Mc Dermott), Pauline (Carolan), brother in law Michael, daughters in law, sons in law, relatives and a large circle of friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Remains reposing at his residence until removal on Monday afternoon to Holy Trinity Church arriving for 3 o'clock private funeral Mass and burial. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Palliative care c/o Gerry Coyle funeral director.

Due to Government and HSE guidelines, Jim's house and funeral will be private to family and close relatives.

Jims funeral Mass will be live broadcast on the Ematris Parish Face Book Page.

Suddenly, at his home, on Saturday, 24th April 2021. Resting at his home on Monday, from 8pm until removal on Tuesday, 27th April, at 1.30pm for funeral service in First Monaghan Presbyterian Church, Old Cross Square, Monaghan, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Joe, if so desired, to First Monaghan Presbyterian Church Repair Fund, (cheques made payable to same) c/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan or any family member.

Due to the current Covid restrictions the house and funeral are private. Those who wish to line the route may do so. Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times.

Joe will be sorely missed by his loving family. His devoted wife Eileen, son Mark, daughters Janet (O'Callaghan) and Sonia (Jebb), daughter-in-law Tanya, sons-in-law Gareth and Ian, his beloved grandchildren Lana, Clara, Martha, Julia, Amy and Sophia, sisters Frances (Smith) and Betty (Clarke) and the entire family circle.
