Bridgie Bannon (née Meehan)

Corragarry, Canningstown, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Bridgie Bannon (nee Meehan) Corragarry, Canningstown, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, 24th April 2021. Predeceased by her husband Charlie, son Kevin, daughter Marie and her brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed by loving family Phyllis (Daly), Sean, PJ, Martina (Nulty) and Cathal, her daughters in law Sarah, Claire and Mary, sons in law Mick and Martin, her adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Due to current government and HSE guidelines, Bridgie's funeral will be private to family only. Funeral procession will leave her residence Monday at 1.30pm to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Maudabawn, for funeral Mass at 2pm. Link to view funeral mass: https://vimeo.com/541328227

John Anthony Clarke, Lakeland, Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 25th April 2021, suddenly. Funeral arrangements later. House private, please.

Margaret (Peggy) Mc Ardle (née Mc Enaney)

Drumchonion, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Monaghan / Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) McArdle (nee Mc Enaney) Drumchonion, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, April 24th 2021 peacefully in the loving care of her family, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Maura and Padraig Mc Adam, Ballybay Road, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Mc Ardle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Sean, Brendan, Eamon and Paul, daughters Breda, Maura and Martina, sons-in-law Philip, Padraig and Nigel, daughters-in-law Patty, Patricia and Simona, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchild, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home in Drumchonion, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Funeral cortege leaving her home on Monday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Bawn, for 12 noon funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions, Margaret's (Peggy's) funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family and friends (restricted to 25 people).

The Mc Ardle family would like to thank you for your consideration and cooperation at this difficult time. Family homes private, please. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line the route on Monday morning in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect of Margaret. Family flowers only please. Kathleen Murnaghan (née Murray)

Lisdoonan, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Kathleen Murnaghan (née Murray), Lisdoonan, Carrickmacross, 24th April 2021. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family & the wonderful staff at Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee. Predeceased by her husband Benny, her son Noel, her granddaughter Catherine & her son-in-law Peter. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her sons Brian, Aidan & Derek and her daughters Mary (McCahey, Castleblayney) & Violet, her daughters-in-law Dympna, Noeleen, Anka & Catherine, her adored grandchildren Lynette, Brendan, David, Audrey, Laura, Arlene, Shauna, Enya, Seán, Niamh, Ben, Paul, Lorraine, Maria, Louisa, Gary, Corina & Shane, her cherished great-grandchildren, her sister Vera (Walsh), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

In accordance with current guidelines, Kathleen's Funeral Mass will take place privately for family only (limited to 25), in St. Mary's Church, Lisdoonan, on Tuesday, 27th April, at 11am in followed by burial in the adjoining new cemetery.

Messages of condolence and support may be left in the condolences section below.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Kathleen's funeral cortège leaves her home on Tuesday morning at 10:30am proceeding on foot to St. Mary's Church.

As a mark of respect to Kathleen, 'Murnaghan Accountants', Farney Street, Carrickmacross, will remain closed until Wednesday, 28th April.
