Anthony (Tony) Bacon

Cormeen, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Anthony (Tony) Bacon, Cormeen, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Peacefully after a short illness in Cavan General Hospital, on the 26th of April 2021. Predeceased by his wife Jacqueline. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Samantha, Selena, Sarah and Emma, grandchildren Sam, Evan, Mia, Amber, Anthony, Tom, Holly, Stephanie, Christopher, great grandchildren Martha and Hugo.

May Tony Rest in Peace.

Funeral Service on Wednesday 28th of April at 2.30pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. Donations if desired to Cavan General Hospital in lieu of flowers. Due to Government/HSE guidelines the funeral service will be restricted to 25 people only.

John Anthony Clarke

Lakeland, Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Cavan

John Anthony Clarke Late of, Lakeland, Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 25th April 2021, suddenly.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Kathleen, brothers Eugene and Paddy.

Beloved husband and best friend of Mary, devoted father of Vincent, Veronica, Anthony, Aidan and Martin. Sadly missed by his loving family daughters-in-law Patrice, Geraldine, Annette and Rosie and son-in-law Aodhagan.

His adored Grandchildren ,Rachel, Conor, AnnaMay, Hugh, Darren, Kieran, Chloe, Aoife and Darragh. Sisters MaryRose, Philomena, Kathleen, Pauline and Margaret, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and many friends.

Removal from his late residence this Wednesday afternoon at 12.30 o'clock to St Brigid's Church knockbride West via The Lakeland road and Greagh cross, for 1 o'clock Funeral Mass, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to covid 19 restrictions, John Anthony's Reposing, Funeral Mass, and burial will be private to family only.

Those standing along the route to pay their final respects are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines please.

Sarah Markey (née Barker)

Lattonfasky, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sarah Markey (née Barker), Lattonfasky, Tullynahinera, formerly Benmore and Clareoghill, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully at her daughter Alice’s home, Monday, 26th April 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Owen and son Peter. Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by her devoted family, Daughters, Mary Ita and Alice, son Paul, daughters-in-law, Aisling and Anna, sons-in-law, Gene Flanagan and Joe Morgan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends. Sarah will repose privately at her home among her family.

There will be an opportunity for neighbours and friends to pay their respects by lining the route in a safe and socially distanced manner, from her home as Sarah’s funeral cortège travels to The Sacred Heart Church, Aughnamullen for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning (28th April) at 11 am continuing on afterwards to All Saints Cemetery, Doohamlet via Clareoghill where Sarah will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Owen.

Following the HSE and Government Guidelines, there will be no public wake as Sarah’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by her family.
