Gerard SHERLOCK

Coolock, Dublin / New Inn, Cavan

SHERLOCK, Gerard (Drumfamina, New Inns, Co. Cavan & formerly of Coolock, Dublin 5) (late of Brooks Thomas) - April 27th, 2021 (peacefully) at home. Beloved son of the late Edward and Sheila. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Valerie, Linda, Carmel and Martina, brother Edward, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place on Thursday (April 29th). You can view the funeral Mass live on church webcam from 10 a.m.

Sr. Canice Durkan

St. Louis Convent, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

(and formerly Co. Mayo)

peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary and her brothers Noel and Fr. Sean.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her cousins, her St. Louis Communities in Monaghan, Middletown, and California, U.S.A. and her many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions the convent will be strictly private.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (29/04/2021) at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Church, Middletown, Co. Armagh subject to social distancing and Covid 19 restrictions.

Peter McLernon

Dernashallog, Emyvale, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Peter McLernon, Dernashallog, Emyvale, Co Monaghan, Tuesday, 27th April, peacefully, at Monaghan General Hospital. Pre-deceased by his loving wife May, son Cathal and brother Aidan (New York). Lovingly remembered by his daughters Pauline (Tony), Siobhan (Shaun), Roisin and son Patrick, grandchildren Marianna, Konor, Iasona, Cara-Mae & Sorcha, sisters Mary & Bernie McLernon and brother Hugh, extended family and friends.

Peter's remains will repose at his residence until removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St.Patrick's Church, Corracrin, for 11am funeral Mass: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-catholic-church-corracrin with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to current restrictions, Peter's house, funeral (restricted to 25 people) and burial will be private to family only. Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so as Peter's funeral cortège travels from his home to the church on Thursday morning (please ensure to adhere to social distancing guidelines).
