ANN FOX (née Cahill)

Elsinore Rise, Midleton, Cork / Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred peacefully at Cork University Hospital Cork of Ann Fox (née Cahill), Elsinore Rise, Midleton, formerly of Edenburt Virginia, Co. Cavan following a brief illness in the presence of her daughter and son, Mary and Pat. Predeceased by her loving husband Pat, and her brothers Phil and Will and sisters Nell, Betty and Rose. Deeply missed by her adored grandchildren, Oisín, Éabha, Cormac, Killian, Hannah and Eliza, her son in law Wayne, her daughter in law Clare, her brothers and sisters Jim, Bartle, Di and Peggy, her brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours in Elsinore.

Ann's family would like to thank the paramedics who attended to Ann and the wonderful staff in ward 4 D C.U.H. for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Ann.

In accordance to continuing Covid guidelines, Ann's house is private.

Ann will leave her home on Saturday May 29th at 10am en route to the Private Requiem Mass and burial. Mass will be live streamed on www.Midletonparish.ie and on the Parish Saorview channel at 11am.

Amanda Mc Cormack

Derrycramph, Cavan

Amanda Mc Cormack, Derrycramph, Cavan, Wednesday, May 26th 2021, peacefully in the loving care of her family & the wonderful staff in St. Christopher's Hospice, Cavan. Predeceased by her parents Paddy & Ann. Sadly missed by her brother David, her sister Claudia, nieces Katie, Paige & Hannah, aunts, uncles, cousins, her special carer Gwen, all her extended family & many, many friends.

May she Rest In Peace.

Due to current restrictions Amanda's reposing, funeral mass & burial will be limited to 50 people. Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan on Friday evening from 4pm until 6pm for family & close friends & visiting will be socially distanced. The funeral will leave the funeral home on Saturday morning at 11.30 am & will travel via Farnham Rd & St. Christopher's Hospice to arrive at the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.

Anyone standing along the route are most welcome & are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines. The family would like to thank you for your cooperation & understanding at this difficult time.

Bernie Noone (née McGivney)

Drumhalla, Tullyco, Cootehill, Cavan / Abbeylara, Longford

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Jim, and loving mother of Sarah Smyth (Navan), and James (Abu Dhabi), sadly missed by her son-in-law Larry, daughter-in-law Lorraine, brothers Michael and Ciaran, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and work colleagues.

Julie Robinson (née Becke)

The death has occurred of Julie Robinson (nee Becke), 2 Cornadarragh, Belturbet, Co. Cavan and formerly South Shields, England. Suddenly at her residence. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by Liam, Marion, Cian and godchild Pema, family, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Patricia Dawn (Pat) Russell (née Freeman)

Worcester, England and Bailieborough Road, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Patricia Dawn Russell, Rahardrum, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan and late of Worcester, England, peacefully at her sons’s residence 26 May 2021. Predeceased by her great grandson James. A much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Sadly missed by her loving husband Graham and their son Ian, her grandsons Dean and Finn, her granddaughter Amelia, her great grandson Charlie, her daughter in law Catherine, her sister Hillary, her brothers in law Ken and Phil and Phil’s wife Sue, nephews Stephen and Andrew, grandnieces, the Quinn family, relatives and friends in Worcester.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will take place on Friday in Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia at 12 o’clock followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium at 1 o’clock. Due to Government and HSE restrictions, the celebration will be in the presence of her family and friends, restricted to 50 people. Burial of ashes will take place on Saturday. Patricia’s family would like to acknowledge Dr Gareth Igoe and the nurses at Virginia Primary Care Centre and Cavan Palliative Care and their Night Nurse service for the wonderful care and support shown to Patricia.

A special word of thanks to Catherine and to Katie for the exceptional care, love and devotion shown to Patricia over the past 14 months.

Philomena Creighan (née McKenna (Newcome))

Drumagalvin, Glaslough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Philomena Creighan (nee McKenna) (Newcome), Drumagalvin, Glaslough, Co.Monaghan, Wednesday, 26th May, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick & Brigid and brothers Pat-Joe & Lawerence.

Lovingly remembered by her loving husband Sean, daughter Louise, sons Paul (Sinead) & Michael (Celine), grandchildren Dara, Cormac, Rory, Frances, Ryan & Sean, sister Margaret Rose, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Philomena's remains will repose at her residence in the presence of her family and friends (please adhere to HSE guidelines at all times).
