Maureen Carroll (née Mc Cabe)

Swiftbrook, Virginia, Cavan / Tallaght, Dublin

The death has occurred of Maureen Carroll (nee Mc Cabe), Swiftbrook, Virginia, Co. Cavan and formerly Belgard Heights, Tallaght, Dublin 24, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 1, 2021.

Sadly missed by her devoted and loving husband Martin and her children Elaine, David and Shane.

A much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Deeply regretted by her husband, her daughter, her sons, her adored grandchildren Emma, Megan, Katie, Ellie, Sean, Conor, Eoghan and her great grandchild Liv, her son in law Michael, daughters in law Sue and Sharon, her sister Joan, brothers Brian and Paddy, sisters in law Rita, Josie, Regina, Kathleen and Shelia, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence until removal on Friday morning for a celebration of life service in St. Patrick’s Church Lurgan at 11 o’clock followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium at 12 o’clock.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings the service will be private to family and friends max. 50. Maureen’s Funeral Service will be available to view online. Link to follow.

Neighbours and friends are very welcome to line the route from her home to the Church in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect if they so wish.

Edward (Sonny) Galligan, Ardkill, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan. Monday, May 31st (peacefully) at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (2nd June) in St. Matthew's Church Drumavaddy at 11am. Interment afterwards in local cemetery.

Tony Mc Cabe

Drumnaveil North, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Tony Mc Cabe, Drumnaveil North, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. May 31st 2021, suddenly at Galway University Hospital, Galway. Predeceased by his parents Hughie and Margaret, Brother Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his loving wife Una, daughters Andrea, Karen and Claire, sons-in-law Adrian, Liam and Trevor, devoted grandchildren Danielle, Rachel, Adam, Dara, Sarah, Sam and Kate, brothers Hughie, Gabriel and Gerry, sisters Ann, Cathy, Bernie and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions Tony's funeral mass and burial will be celebrated in the presence of his family and friends restricted to 50 people.

The Mc Cabe family would like to thank you for cooperation and consideration at this difficult time. Funeral cortege will leave Tony's home on foot via Station Road on Thursday afternoon at 12.30 pm to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Cootehill for 1 pm funeral mass, followed by burial in St. Michael's cemetery Cootehill.

Beloved husband of Catherine (Kay) and devoted father of Karen and Mark. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, children, son-in-law Jason, daughter-in-law Elaine, his adored grandchildren Kian, Connor, Jamie, Callum, Natasha & Noah, brother, sisters, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Brian’s cremation service will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan on Wednesday, June 2nd, at 12 noon.

KEATING Kathleen (Kitsy) (née Carroll) (Seapoint, Termonfeckin, Co. Louth) 31st May 2021(peacefully) in the tender care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Pat. Loving mother of Patrick, Pauline, Joanne and Catherine and adored grandmother of her nine grandchildren Thomas, Mollie and Ted, Joseph, Matthew and Rebecca, Séan, Aisling and Paddy, Predeceased by her sister Pauline, and brothers Austin, Jim, Martie, Natius and Vincent. Very sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Keiko, sons-in-law Ronan and Matteo, her brother Willie, sister-in-law Sheila, nieces, nephews and her many wonderful friends.

May she rest in peace.

Subject to current Government guidelines the number of people attending funerals is limited to 50. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Termonfeckin. (www.termonfeckinparish.ie). Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Sheetland Road, Termonfeckin.

peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Reposing at his home.

Predeceased by his wife Geraldine.

Sadly missed by his daughters Ann and Pauline, sons Noel and Enda, sons in law Harold and Barry, daughter in law June, grandchildren Garreth, Áine, Cormac, Sinéad, Ciarán and Patrick, great grandchildren Katie, Eva, Mollie, Ben and Daithí, sister Tessie (Birmingham), sister in law Vera, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.
