It is with regret that we note the deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Noeleen Clarke (née Keappock)

Cornakill, Kingscourt, Cavan / Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Noeleen Clarke, née Keappock, Cornakill, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan and formerly of Maudabawn, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, 17th July 2021.

Predeceased by her daughter Janice. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Eamonn, daughter Celina (Thomas) and sons Gavin (Amanda) & Pauric (Hayley). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Daire, Noah, Alice-Kate, Heidi, Hannah, Liam, Ruby & Ryan, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, her beloved dog Holly, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Noeleen’s Funeral Mass will be available to view online at 10am on Tuesday morning, 20th July, on the following link;

Noeleen's funeral cortège will begin from her home on Tuesday morning, travelling via Main Street, Church Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception from 9.30am. Neighbours and friends are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

Martin Noel Quinn

83 Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin / Ardagh, Longford / Stradone, Cavan

Formerly of Ardagh, Longford and Baloor, Ballintubber, Mayo, Saturday July 17th, peacefully, at St. Vincent's Private Hospital. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Carmel (nee Conaty, late of Clondargan, Stradone). Martin will be sadly missed by his children Shane, Aisling and Caoimhe, brothers Frank, Tom and Alo, brothers in law Séamus, Oliver and Tony, sisters in law Kathleen, Betty and Eileen, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Cavan (H12 RF78), on Monday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Removal on Tuesday from Clondargan, via Stradone Village, to arrive at St. Dympna's Church, Upper Lavey (A82 XW61) for Funeral Mass at 1pm, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Due to current government guidelines Martin's Funeral Mass is restricted to 50 people. Those attending the Funeral Home are asked to observe social distancing and to wear a face mask.

Martin’s family would like to thank all the staff in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital for their care and kindness over the last few months.

Andy Larkin

Donore Road., Drogheda, Louth / Shercock, Monaghan

Formerly of Corcreagh, Shercock, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Former Aer Lingus employee. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Bridget, sister Kit Smith, brothers Jim, Pat and Eddie brother-in-law, Johnnie Smth, sisters-in-law, Mary and Sadie Larkin. Deeply regretted by his brothers Peter and Barney, his nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives and friends.

Baby May Clare Maguire

Smithborough, Monaghan

Our darling angel, May Clare Maguire born on the 16th July 2021, passed away peacefully in the arms of her Mammy & Daddy on the17th July 2021 in Crumlin Children's Hospital Dublin.

Baby May will be desperately missed by her Mammy Cathy (née Mc Elroy), Daddy Jason and big brother Tom.

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
