Francis (Francie) Bannon

Darraugh, Garadice, Ballinamore, Leitrim / Ballyconnell, Cavan

Peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased his wife Mary. Sadly missed by his sons John (Mary), Gerard (Mary), daughters Margaret (Joe), Ann (Brian), Evelyn, Jacqueline (Des), Pauline (Sean) and Martina (Hugh), his many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Pauline, brothers Patrick and Aidan, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow, Wednesday, from 2pm until 9pm for family, neighbours and close friends, all social distance guidelines must be adhered to. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Kilnavart, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, restricted to 50 people, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, in lieu of flowers, to Palliative Care Cavan c/o Gorby Funeral Directors, Newtowngore.

Clementstown House, Cootehill, Cavan

Rev Canon Alexandra (Sandra) Lindsay (nee Acheson) Clementstown House, Cootehill, Co Cavan, Saturday July 24th, 2021, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Rev. Cecil. Sandra will be very sadly missed by her dear children Edward, Jean, Heather, Kenneth and Gordon. Mother-in-law of Adrian, Edna and Suzanne, grandma of Amy, Sophie, Abbie, Ross, James, Ellen, Zara and Mark, sister of Margaret, Louis, Gena, Alec and John. Remembered with love by her family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, clergy and a large circle of friends.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, would be much appreciated, to St. Patrick's Church, Kildrumferton, c/o Clive Magee Funeral Director or any family member.

Funeral cortège will leave the family home on Thursday afternoon at 2pm, arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Kildrumferton, at 3pm for Funeral Service, followed by a private family burial. Cortège will travel via Tullyvin, Laragh, Stradone, Lavey and Crosskeys. Please adhere to social distancing along the route to keep everyone safe. The family appreciate your kindness and understanding at this difficult time.

Laura Loughman (née Breslin)

Urney, Lane, Drumlion, Ballinagh, Cavan / Cavan Town, Cavan

Laura Loughman Née Breslin, Urney lane, Drumlion, Ballinagh, Co Cavan and late of 51 College Street, Cavan Town. Monday July 26th peacefully in the loving care of her family. Predeceased by her grandson Martin and her parents Michael and Betty Breslin. Beloved wife of Martin, and dear mother of Michele, Marty & Sarah. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, her brothers Michael, Norman & Brendan, son in law Shane & daughter in law Lauren and all her adored grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law. Laura will be greatly missed by her relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her home in Ballinagh tomorrow Wednesday from 4.00pm until 8.00pm for family and close friends. Removal on Thursday morning at 11am to the Cathedral of SS. Patrick & Felim, Cavan Town, to arrive for 11.30am Requiem Mass followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd., Cavan.

Neighbours and friends are very welcome to line the route in a safe and socially distanced manner, as a mark of respect.

Due to Government and HSE guidelines Laura's Requiem Mass and cremation will be restricted to 50 people.

41 Twin Oaks, Bailieborough, Cavan / Ardara, Donegal

The death has taken place suddenly of Patrick Mooney, Bailieborough, Cavan and formerly Brackey, Ardara. Remains reposing at the family home in Brackey, Ardara this evening (Tuesday) from 8.00pm. Removal for there on Thursday morning at 11.40am going to The Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for 12.00pm Funeral Mass, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 4.00pm.

Funeral and Cremation is strictly limited to fifty people due to current H.S.E guidelines. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Ardara. Due to H.S.E guidelines the wake is for family, neighbours and close friends.

Kilsarn, Loughduff, Cavan

Michael died peacefully on Monday 26th. July at The General Hospital Cavan. Predeceased by his brothers Packie, Christopher, Bernard and sister in law Bridie.

Sadly missed by his brothers Sonny and Phil, sisters in law Annie and Ann, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy Village, on Wednesday from 7pm. to 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Loughduff. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. In line with current restrictions the Funeral Mass will be limited to 50 people.

Knock, Inniskeen, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Eoin Boyle peacefully in the tender care of the doctors and nursing staff of the Louth County Hospital.

EOIN much loved son of the late Pat and Betty Boyle, Knock, Inniskeen. Dear brother of Seán, Pat, Veronica, Winifred, Gertie, Rosaleen, Patricia and the late Marie. Sadly missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.

Reposing at Magee’s Funeral Home, Inniskeen from 3pm until 5pm tomorrow, Wednesday the 28th of July with removal at 5.30 pm to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen arriving for 6pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 29th July at 11 am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

Due to current Government guidelines, Eoin’s Funeral Mass will be limited to 50 close family and friends. There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Eoin by being present on route, socially distanced as Eoin is brought from Magee’s Funeral Home via Ednamoe, Blackstaff, Magoney, Knock, Finnegans Cross, Glebe and Ednamoe to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, arriving at 6pm on Wednesday the 28th of July. The death has occurred of Seamus Hughes, 5 Glencove Manor, Old Armagh Road, Monaghan. Tuesday, 27th July, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his brother Mick Hughes, Killyrane, Emyvale. Lovingly remembered by his wife Rita, son Raymond, daughter Caroline, daughter in law, Loraine and son in law Seamus, grandchildren Jack, Molly, Luke & Sean. Seamus will be sadly missed by his sisters Marie Wilson, Kathleen McCarville, Rita Grimley, Bernadette Clerkin, brothers Packie & Gene, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cabra, Threemilehouse, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Adam Mc Cormick, Cabra, Threemilehouse, Co. Monaghan, peacefully, alongside his family, following a tragic accident.

Adam is predeceased by his uncle Gary, cousins Ciaran & Liam Hagan and his great-grandfather Mickey Mc Kenna.

Adam will be forever missed and always loved by his heartbroken Mum Aoife, his grandparents Jeanette, Niall & Eugene, his uncles Brian, Christopher & Conor, his great-grandparents, relatives and his wide circle of friends.

Adam's funeral procession will leave his grandparents' home (Jeanette & Niall) Cabra, Threemilehouse, on Friday 30th at 14:40pm to arrive at St Mary's Chapel, Threemilehouse, for 3pm Funeral Mass. Adam will be laid to rest beside his uncle Gary in the adjoining cemetery.

Monaghan. Martin's remains will repose at his late home until removal on Thursday at 10.00am for 11.00am requiem mass in St Patrick's Cathedral burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery.
