John McDonald

Tullyvard, Kill, Cootehill, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of John McDonald, Tullyvard, Kill, Cootehill, Co.Cavan and Clough, Cootehill, Co.Cavan who passed away peacefully in the care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents John and Agnes, his sisters Ann and Mary, brother Pat and niece Patricia.

John will be sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Thomas and Francis, sister Kathleen, brother in law Patsy, sisters in law Anne and Teresa, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Tuesday evening (September 14th) from 7pm - 9pm.

Removal from Mullen's Funeral Home on Wednesday morning (September 15th), via Rakane road (L2017) to arrive at St.Bridget's Church, Kill for 11am mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to current the COVID19 restrictions and regulations the Church is limited to 50% capacity

Margaret Brady (née Nulty)

Kells Road and Late Micks Bar, Market Square, Bailieborough, Cavan

Margaret Brady (nee Nulty) Kells Road and Late Micks Bar, Market Square, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Died 13th September 2021, peacefully at her residence. Predeceased by her husband Michael, son Michael Junior and daughter-in-law Caroline. Deeply regretted by her loving family son Peter, daughters Mary and Rosena, grandsons Ben and Patrick, granddaughters Louise, Rebecca and Sueann, sons-in-law Brian and Allan, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal Wednesday morning at 10.45am to arrive at St Anne’s Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 11am. Anthony (Tony) Gillies Snr

Uragh, Milltown, Belturbet, Cavan / Swords, Dublin

The death has occurred of Anthony (Tony) Gillies Snr, Uragh, Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 12th September 2021, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and wonderful staff of St Christopher’s Hospice Cavan. Predeceased by his wife Joan and brother Willie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by Tony Jnr, Eugene, Iris and David, sisters Margaret and Philomena, daughters-in-law Joanna and Edel, sons-in-law Gary and Robbie, grandchildren James, Jayne, Joshua, Lucy, Benjamin and Sinead, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home Uragh, Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, H14 EH32 on Tuesday, 14th September, from 4pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday, 15th September, to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Milltown, H14 K318 for 12 o’clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Drumlane Abbey. Family Flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St Christopher’s Hospice Cavan care of Mark Lawlor Undertakers.

Anna Mae Sheridan, (née Reilly), Pullakeel, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Benny. Peacefully in the loving care of her family and staff at St Christopher's Hospice, Cavan. Sadly missed by her loving family John, Rosaleen, Brian, Philip, Dympna, Collette, Martin, Stephen and Marian, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow, Tuesday from 6.00pm until 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in St Matthew's Church, Drumavaddy at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining new cemetery.

The death has occurred of Margaret McCarthy formerly of Parnell Street, Carrickmacross and Shancobane, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, on Sunday, 12th September 2021, peacefully, in Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross. Sadly missed and remembered by her loving family, and predeceased by her husband Patrick (Pat), her brother Pete McGahon and sisters Anna Watkins and Rose McGeough, she will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Magee’s Funeral Parlour on Monday the 13th September from 4pm to 8 pm. Removal on Tuesday 14th September to Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St Mary's Cemetery. The capacity of the funeral home and the church is 50%.

The death has occurred of Jenny Noss (nee Leanagh), 18 Black Island View, Drumillard, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and late of Barnabrow Lodge, Barnabrow, Cloyne, Co. Cork in her 101st year. Sunday, September 12th, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Jenny, predeceased by her husband Adolf, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Jenny will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Castleblayney among her family and friends on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm until 7pm. Jenny’s funeral cortège will travel from the funeral home on Thursday morning at 9:50am proceeding on foot to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in St Colman’s Cemetery, Cloyne, Co. Cork arriving approximately at 4pm.

Due to the current Government and HSE guidelines Jenny’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family only. House private please.

The death has occurred of Nuala O’Connor (nee McGrane), Corlust, Castleshane, Co.Monaghan. Friday September 10th peacefully at Glenaulin Nursing Home Dublin. Predeceased by her parents Eileen and Thomas, infant son John, brothers Padraig and Peter. Nuala, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, husband Liam, daughters Deirdre, Eilish and Fionnuala, sons Thomas and Niall, son in-law John, daughters in-law Natasha, Caroline and Nannerl, sister Mary, brother Tomás (USA), her cherished grandchildren Kate, Eve, Aoibhinn, Annie, Rory and Róisín, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
