John (Johnny) Greene

Ramonan, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

John passed away peacefully in the loving care of his family and nursing staff at St Joseph's Nursing Home Virginia, Tuesday, 14th of September.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen.

MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Deeply regretted by his loving family Martina (Simon), Catherina (Scott), Fiona, Lorraine (Milles), John (Jay), Raymond, Patrick (Bernie), Mark (Pauline) his much loved grandchildren and his great grandchild relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff. Internment afterwards in St.Joseph's Cemetery, Oldcastle road.

Due to HSE guidelines & Government restrictions numbers will be reduced for those attending the funeral mass. Please follow the guidelines regarding social distancing at all times.

Tommy Brady

Snakiel, Killeshandra, Cavan

Tommy Brady, London, and formerly Snakiel, Killeshandra, County Cavan, September 13th 2021, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his father Pat, sadly and sorely missed by his wife Mary, daughter Caoimhe, his mother Bernadette, brothers and sisters, Mary, Bernadette, Paddy, Eddie, Ann and Cindy; nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral will take place on Friday 24th September in London at 1.30pm in the Church of the Assumption, 98 Manford Way, Hainault 1G7 4DF followed by cremation.

Marian Mc Govern (née Collins) NT

Kildoagh, Bawnboy, Cavan

14th September 2021 at the home of her daughter Breda Maguire, Ballyconnell.

Predeceased by her husband Aidan, parents Eugene and Catherine Collins and sister Dympna. Marian will be sadly missed by her family, Daughter Mary Colleary (Castlerea), son Eugene (Buncrana), daughter Breda, (Ballyhugh, Ballyconnell) & son Conor (kildoagh Bawnboy), her brother Fr Owen Collins and sister Treana Smith, her cherished grandchildren, Lisa, Leona & Odhrán, Pádraig, Aoife & Nevan,Ryan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours & friends.

May Marian's gentle soul rest in peace

Marian will repose at the home of her daughter Breda, Ballyhugh, Ballyconnell, H14VW32 on Wednesday, 15th September 2021, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday at 1pm via Bawnboy & Kildoagh arriving at St. Mogue's Church, Bawnboy for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House private please other than at the above mentioned designated times only. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Cavan Palliative Care Team c/o Brian Fee Undertaker or any family member. Due to government and HSE guidelines the Funeral Mass will be limited to 50% capacity at the church.

Dermot McCorry

Drumalee, Belturbet, Cavan

Dermot McCorry, Drumalee, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 14th September 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Brigid and Patrick. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, daughters Jude, Sarah and Laura, sons John and Owen, sisters Kitsy, Delores, Betty and Una, sons-in-law Robert, Johnny, Mike, daughters-in-law Mary and Deirdre, grandchildren Nadine, Leah, Killian, Hannah, Sophia, Emma, Chloe, Megan, Ollie, Annie, Matthew and Darragh brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Remains will be reposing at his residence, Eircode H14 XE39, for family and close friends this evening, Tuesday, 14th September, from 5pm to 7pm and on Wednesday, 15th September, from 5pm until 7pm, with removal on Thursday morning, 16th September, at 10.30am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Drumalee, for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu, to Palliative Care Cavan care of Mark Lawlor Undertaker.

Tullyard, Kill, Cootehill, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of John McDonald, Tullyard, Kill, Cootehill, Co. Cavan and Clough, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, who passed away, peacefully, in the care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents John and Agnes, his sisters Ann and Mary, brother Pat and niece Patricia. John will be sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Thomas and Francis, sister Kathleen, brother in law Patsy, sisters in law Anne and Teresa, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Tuesday evening (September 14th) from 7pm - 9pm. Removal from Mullen's Funeral Home on Wednesday morning (September 15th), via Rakane road (L2017) to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Kill, for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to current the COVID19 restrictions and regulations the church is limited to 50% capacity.

Brian Connolly

Killark, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Brian Connolly. Killark, Carrickmacross. 11th September 2021. Suddenly at his home. Predeceased by his parents Bernard & Bridget & recently by his brother-in-law Fr Aidan Mullan. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Rosemary, his sister Martina (Foley, Ennis), his brothers-in-law Gerry, John, Dermot, Brendan & Kevin, his sister-in-law Monica, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Brian will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Main Street, Carrickmacross, among his family & friends on Wednesday, 15th September, from 5pm until 7pm.

Brian's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Rock Chapel, Upper Magheracloone, on Thursday, 16th September, at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. In accordance with most recent guidelines the capacity of the Church is limited to 50%.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Brian's funeral cortège leaves Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:25am via O'Neill St, Dundalk Rd, N2, turning right at Roe's Cross proceeding via Killark, the Priests Cross to St. Patrick's Church.

Peter Mulhall

Fermanagh St, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Peter Mulhall, Fermanagh St., Clones, Co. Monaghan, Sept 14th 2021, peacefully, at The Dromore Unit, St Mary's Hospital, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Predeceased by his wife Josephine. Cherished father of Kathleen (Michael), Kevin, Jo, Patricia (Kevin), Declan (Paula), Christopher and Ciaran (Angela).Peter will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law (Kitty Casey), nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved Peter.

Peter will repose at the home of his daughter Patricia and son -in-law Kevin Mc Adoo at Creevelea, Newbliss amongst his family and close friends due to COVID-19 restrictions (from 3pm this Tuesday afternoon) until removal on Thursday morning at 9.15am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones for 10am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones. Peter’s funeral cortège to the chapel will travel via The Diamond, Clones and Fermanagh St.

Due to COVID 19 government restrictions, the Mass and burial will be private to family and friends and restricted to 50% of the chapel's capacity. For those who wish to pay their respects, please adhere to HSE guidelines and maintain 2m social distance.
