Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret May.

Much loved Father of Sean.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his son Sean, his daughter in law Carmel and his beloved grandchildren Rebecca, John and James, relatives and friends.

Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Tierworker, for Funeral Mass on Friday arriving at 12 o'clock, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Due to current government and HSE guidelines the capacity of the church will be restricted to 50%.

Remains will repose at his home on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm for family, friends and neighbours and on Thursday from 2pm until removal of remains at 6 30 to arrive in St. Patrick's Church, Belleek, at 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Garrison.

No flowers by request.

Covid regulations will apply.

Josephine (Josie) McGovern (née Stretton)

Church Street, Ballinamore, Leitrim

Formerly Drumbibe, Aughnasheelin. Peacefully in the loving care of her family and staff of Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit.

Predeceased by her beloved daughter Deirdre (Meehan).

She will be so sadly missed by her devoted husband Seddie, her daughters Mary & Briege, her sons Frank & Gerry, sister Peggy McKeon (Keshcarrigan), sons-in-law Brendan & Kevin, daughters-in-law Jackie & Rosie, her adored grandchildren Shane, Aisling, Niamh, Conor, Tadgh, Olivia & Javier, her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence for family, neighbours and close friends on Thursday, 14th October, from 4pm to 7pm.

Removal from her home on Friday morning, 15th October, arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballinamore for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Oughteragh Cemetery.

Family flowers only please; donations, in lieu, if desired, to the Patient Comfort Fund, Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit c/o Smith’s Funeral Directors, Ballinamore.

Theodora Scutt (née Powys)

Formerly of Dorset, England, Monday, 11th of October 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle. Co. Roscommon.

Predeceased by her husband Bernard.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sister; Ann Powys (Portugal), her cousin; Peter Potocki (France), relatives, neighbours and friends.

Cremation will take place on Friday, 15th of October 2021, at 4.00pm at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

October 12th, 2021, (peacefully) at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda after a short illness.

Sadly missed by her loving children Anne, Pat, Olive and Gerard, sisters Carmel and Bernie, brothers Pat and Jim, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at her home on Thursday (14th Oct.) evening from 5 - 7 p.m.

Removal on Friday (15th Oct.) morning to St. Colmcille's Church, Kells arriving for 11 a.m.

Mass followed by funeral to Ballyboughal Cemetery.

Sadly missed by his sister Frances Monaghan and brothers Sean, Alo, Brendan and Finian, members of the extended family, neighbours, friends and former colleagues of Iarnród Eireann.

Reposing in Gibney's Funeral Home, Oldcastle, Co. Meath from 3.00pm to 8.00pm on Thursday.

Removal from the funeral home on Friday to arrive at Church of St. Brigid and St. Fiach, Ballinacree for Requiem Mass at 11.00 am.

Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on http://www.facebook.com/FuneralDirectorSolutions.

Predeceased by her parents Ide and Michael, and her sister Mary.

In Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, in her 90th year.

Predeceased by her husband Kevin, son Michael and her great-grandson Mikey.

Sadly missed by her loving family, Kevin Joseph, Phyllis, Patrick, (Michael RIP) Rosemary, Theresa, Elizabeth, Brendan, Carmel, James and Claire, her sister Phyllis Long and brother Myles Clare, sisters in law, daughters in law and sons in law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her residence this Saturday evening from 5pm to 7pm for family, relatives and close family friends, with removal to St. Patrick's Church, Castletown, arriving at 8pm.

Neighbours and friends are invited to line the route in a safe and socially distanced manner.

Funeral Mass Sunday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
