Man killed in Monaghan road crash
The incident happened this morning.
A man has died in a road crash outside Monaghan town.
The crash happened at around 7.30am on the Armagh road in Knockaconny.
A lorry veered off the road and into a ditch. No other vehicles were involved.
Forensic collision investigators are currently at the scene and the N12 road remains closed.
That crash happened when a car hit a parked lorry on the R147 at Carnaross between Kells and Virginia shortly before 9.30pm.
A man in his 30s was killed.
