Jim Brady
Pollintemple, Virginia, Cavan, A82 RF30 / Arva, Cavan
The death has occurred of Jim Brady of Arva, the Lakeside Manor Hotel and Pollintemple, Virginia, Cavan. He passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
His loving wife, Méabh, and his sons Farrell, Conor and Darragh will sadly miss Jim, along with his brothers Seán, Brian, Thomas, Brendan, his sister Anne, his sisters-in-law, his brothers-in-law, his nieces, his nephews, his family and his many friends. He will reunite with his brother Vincent and his sister Margeret, his mother Annie and his father Tom.
May his and all of their souls rest in peace.
Jim will be reposing at his residence (Pollintemple, Virginia – A82 RF30) this Thursday evening from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. He will depart from his home this Friday at 1:40 pm with arrival at Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, for Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm. The burial will commence afterwards in Maghera Cemetery. We invite people to form a guard of honour along the Bailieborough Rd, Virginia, to the chapel, or along the route to the Maghera graveyard as a mark of respect.

On 20th October, 2021, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St Columbanus Nursing Home, Killarney, JOHN, beloved husband of Sheila (nee McSweeney), loving father of Noel and Marion, Sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Pascal, daughter-in-law Cathrin, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen (Reneí) McDonald (née Costello)

Kathleen (ReneÍ) McDonald, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, 19th October 2021 (peacefully) surrounded by her family in the care of the Staff of the Lisdarn Unit Cavan. Predeceased by her parents and her husband James. Dearly beloved mother of Breege (Parker), Margaret, Matthew, Leo and Fergal, daughters-in-law Sinead, Susan and Geraldine, son-in-law Stephen, sister, brothers, grandchildren Niamh, Leah, Aoife and James, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck, on Thursday evening (21st) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from her residence on Friday (22nd) to St. Mary's Church, Crosserlough, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
In line with current Government and HSE guidelines numbers will be limited at the Funeral Mass. Please follow social distance guidelines at all times.

Formerly Boyne Road, Navan, Co Meath. Suddenly, at his residence.
Predeceased by his loving mother Margaret. Maurice will be sadly missed by his father John, brothers Donal and JP, sisters Margaret Mortell and Maria Dixon, partner Caroline, sisters -in-law, brothers-in-law, aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, Carolines children Danielle and Keith, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Joseph's Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) on Thursday from 5pm followed by a Celebration of Maurice's Life at 6:30pm. Arriving to Lakeland's Crematorium, Cavan on Friday for cremation at 12noon.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Henry's funeral cortège leaves Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Saturday, 23rd October, at 3:10pm proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church for Funeral Mass at 3:30pm followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross.
