Man in Court over armed robbery in Stradone
The incident happened earlier this year.
A man’s to appear in Court as part of the investigation into an armed robbery in Stradone in April.
A man in his 20s has been charged by Gardaí following the incident, which took place on April 22.
Two men wearing balaclavas and believed to be armed with handguns entered the post office.
They made off with a sum of cash, believed to be in the low thousands of euro.
No injuries were reported following this incident and the pair fled in a vehicle, found burned out nearby a short time later at Lisnageer, Cootehill.
A number of people were arrested in the weeks following the incident.
Gardáí have today confirmed that a man in his 20s has been charged in relation to the robbery.
He’s to appear before Cavan District Court this morning.
