Alva Donohoe (nee O'Reilly), "Woodview", Farnham Road, Cavan, Saturday, October, 30, peacefully, in the loving care of her family & the wonderful staff in Castlemanor Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Philip (Bruno) & loving mother of the late Desmond & sister of the late Winnie & Michael. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Fanoni, Philip, Martina & Caroline, brother Paddy, sisters Dympna & Angela, daughters in law Eileen & Aisling, son in law Paul, her adored grandchildren & great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, good neighbours, all her extended family & many friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, on Monday evening from 5 o'clock, concluding with prayers at 7 o'clock. Face masks are required & social distancing guidelines will be in place. Alva's remains will leave the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock, travelling via Drumconnick, Drumelis & Farnham Rd, to arrive at The Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, for Funeral Mass at 11.30 o'clock. Burial will take place after Mass in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry. The funeral Mass will be available to view on the parish webcam www.cavantownparish.com

Christine Maxwell (née McWeeney)

Dromore, Ballinamore, Leitrim, formerly Crummy, Drumcong, Co. Leitrim,

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, much loved mother and grandmother.

Predeceased by her mother Lizzie-Ann, father John Joe and grandchildren; twins Ella and Amy Maxwell, and Casey Allison.

Christine will be sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Eugene, sons Ciarán and Adrian, daughters Sharon and Aisling, daughter-in-law Clare Donohoe, sons-in-law Adam Allison and Michael Creamer. She will be sadly missed by her nine cherished grandchildren Ava, Ryan, Jamie, Zara, Mark, Shane, Cianna, Ollie and Amy, her brother Jerome (Mary) and Cyril, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt-in-law (Margaret, England), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home on Sunday Oct 31st from 2pm until 7pm.

Removal on Monday to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in Oughteragh Cemetery, Ballinamore.

Beloved brother of Kevin, Pat, Rita, Ann, Bernadette,Una, Maureen and Beatrice.

Sadly missed by his sister in law Monica,brothers in law Tom,and Michael,nieces,nephews and extended family.

Reposing at the residence of his brother and sister in law Kevin & Monica McCabe, Drumsilla, Carrigallen,Co Leitrim on Sunday (31st October) from 3pm-9pm.

Rose Philomena (Phyllis) Shannon (née Masterson)

Collinstown, Westmeath

Rose Philomena (Phyllis) Shannon (nee Masterson), formerly of Collinstown, Co. Westmeath, passed away peacefully on October 4th in Cardiff, South Wales, aged 88. Dearly loved by her son Gerard, daughter-in-law Bonny and grandsons Rhys and Jacob. Survived by her brother Martin Reilly, sisters-in-law Mary and Betty as well as many nieces and nephews in Wales and Ireland. Phyllis will be greatly missed by lifelong family friend Bishop Edwin Regan.

A Mass to celebrate her life will be held in St Mary's Church Collinstown on Wednesday November 3rd at 11am, followed by burial of ashes in the local cemetery.
