It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Noelle Simpson (née Heaslip)

Loch Gowna, Cavan

Died 30th of January 2022 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Billy, brothers Bobby, Willie, and Donald, sisters Olive and Mabel. Beloved mother of Anne, Willie, Phillip, Audrey, Trevor, Richard, Ronald and Ian. Will be sadly missed by her loving family, her 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Gerry, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Safe in the Arms of Jesus.

Noelle will be reposing at her home on Monday the 31st from 5pm to 9pm and again on Tuesday the 1st from 5pm to 9pm. Removal from her home to Lough Gowna Church of Ireland on Wednesday the 2nd for funeral service at 2pm followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Palliative Care Cavan.

Patrick (Paddy) Farrell

Knock, Mayo / Poles, Cavan

Patrick (Paddy) Farrell Carrowmore, Meadows and Queen of Peace Nursing Home Knock, Co. Mayo, and Baldoyle, Co. Dublin and Poles and Knockbride, Co. Cavan.

Peacefully at at Castlebar Hospital aged 91 years.

Predeceased by his wife Philomena (Philly), parents Mary and James Farrell, sister Anna, brothers Bob and Noel and will be sadly missed by his loving family sister Kammy, brother Seamus, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours, many friends and his carers.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Marian Funeral Home, Knock, Co. Mayo (eir code F12A 726 ) on Tuesday from 1.30 - 3.00pm and at Clarkes Funeral Home Bailieborough, Co. Cavan (eir code A82 W2H7 ) on Wednesday from 5 - 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Brigid's Church Knockbride West followed by burial in Killygarry Cemetery.

Sarah (Sadie) Olivia Graham (née Scott)

Dillagh, Ballinagh, Cavan

Sadie Graham, Dillagh, Ballinagh, who passed away on Saturday 29th January 2022, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) her daughter Olivia (Olive) Quigley and grandchild Sarah. Sadly missed by her loving family sons Bobby and Walter, daughters Heather and Hazel (Alan), sisters May McDowell, and Annie Pratt, brother Robbie Scott and his wife Joan, grandchildren,great grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Finnegan's Funeral Home and Crematorium Dublin Road, Cavan on Monday evening from 5.30 p.m until 7.30 p.m.

Removal leaving funeral home on Tuesday 1st February at 1 p.m. to arrive at Ballintemple Parish Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Ballintemple Parish Church Repair Fund. Funeral service can be viewed live on link to be announced later. Martin Kiernan

Mullinary, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Martin Kiernan. Mullinary, Carrickmacross. 30th January 2022. Peacefully, at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents John & Mae. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Nuala, his daughters Suzanne & Emma & his son James, his sons-in-law Gerard & Neil and daughter-in-law Bernita, his adored grandchildren Aaron, Oisín, Emily, Amy, Seán, Aoibhínn, Laura & Áine, his brother John & his sisters Anne & Catherine, his aunt Rose, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.
