Charlie Brady

Killycasson, Loughduff, Cavan

Charlie Brady Killycasson, Loughduff, Co. Cavan and late Holloway, London. Tuesday 1st. February 2022. suddenly at Beaumount Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) and close friend Steve.

Sadly missed by his cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy on Thursday evening from 7pm. with prayers at 7.45pm. Removal on Friday morning arriving St. Joseph's Church Loughduff for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Please respect current HSE guidelines. Wearing of face covering and no hand shaking.

Oran Donohoe

Glencurran, Carrickaboy, Cavan

Oran Donohoe "Glenview House", Glencurran, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan, 1st February 2022, predeceased by his Grandad Michael Donohoe. Cherished son of Seamus and Jacinta, (née Tynan) loving brother of Kiara, Regan and Caolain. Sadly missed by his loving parents, Seamus and his partner Ann Meade, Jacinta and her partner Tony Corcoran and his children Laurine, Dylan and Sean, brothers, sister, grandparents Elizabeth Donohoe, Michael and Kitty Tynan, uncles Martin Donohoe, Damien, Michael Jnr, Alan and David Tynan, aunts, Geraldine, Clare and Teresa Donohoe, Leighanne and Janine Tynan, cousins and a large circle of friends.

James (Seamus) McCaffrey

Rattin, Kinnegad, Westmeath / Bawnboy, Cavan

James (Seamus), peacefully at the Regional Hospital Mullingar. Pre-deceased by his brothers PJ, Kevin and Sean. Sadly missed by his loving wife Bridget, sons Peter and James, daughter Marie, daughters-in-law Karen and Catherine, son-in-law Noel, grandchildren, sister-in-law Shiela, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Darby's Funeral Home, Main Street, Kinnegad, Eircode N91E4CF on Wednesday, 2nd February, from 5pm, with removal at 6.45pm to arrive at St Mary's Church kinnegad at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 3rd February, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Mogues Cemetery, Bawnboy, Co. Cavan. Face coverings must be worn and no hand shaking.

Patrick (Paddy) Smith

Killnacross, Redhills, Cavan

Suddenly on 29th January 2022. Beloved son of Elizabeth and predeceased by his father Tommy. Devoted father to Brein, Padraig, and Aoibhinn. Adored brother to Denise, Olivia, and Melissa. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brothers in law, Darren, Peter, and Fabin, his nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, his children's mother Sheila, relatives, neighbours and large circle.

Remains reposing at his residence, Killnacross, Redhills, on Wednesday evening from 2.00pm till 8.00 pm. Remains going to St. Brigid's Church, Killoughter, Redhills, on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House strictly private on Thursday morning. Family flowers only donations in lieu to Heart Foundation c/o Gerard McMahon, Funeral Director or any family member or by donation box in Church. Please adhere to Government regulations.

Thomas (Tommy) Young

Billis, Cavan Town, Cavan

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Young, Billis, Cavan Town, Monday, January 31st, peacefully at his home, in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his wife Mai, beloved daughter Cáit, parents John A. and Brigid, brothers Fr. Patsy and Sean. Devoted father of Sinead, Ciara, Niamh & Tomás. Sadly missed by his brother Brendan, sons in law Chris, Nauman, Jerome & daughter in law Sandra, his adored grandchildren Shauna, Tom, Sara, Kiran, Grace, Jane, Beth, Emma & Charlie, nephews, nieces, relatives & many friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday, February 1st, from 3pm to 8pm. House strictly private at all other times. Removal from his home on Wednesday, February 2nd, at 11.30 to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Kathleen (Cassie) Carbin

Liskenna, Emyvale, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Cassie) Carbin, Liskenna, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, Monday 31st January peacefully at Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her Husband John and her brothers James, Pat & Owen.

Kathleen will be sadly missed by her daughters Anna-Rose & Eilean, sons in law Owenie Joe & Danny, grandchildren and great children. Lovingly remembered by her brother George, sisters Rose, Peggy, Annie & Brigid, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kathleen's remains will repose at the family home, Tuesday from 5pm - 10pm and Wednesday from 12pm - 10pm. Family time Thursday morning please. Ann (Annie) Mc Shane (née Flanagan)

Cornalough, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Ann (Annie) Mc Shane née Flanagan, Cornalough, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, Tuesday 1st February 2022, peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, daughter Grainne, brother Pat, sisters Gertie, Bridie and Carmel. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons Martin and Steven, daughter Mary (McCabe), grandchildren, Stephanie, Eric, Lauren, Fionn, TJ and James, great-grandson Myles, sons-in-law David and Wayne, daughter-in-law Joanne, sister Sheila, sister-in-law Anne, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Annie will repose at her son Steven’s home on Wednesday, 2nd February, from 12 noon until 8pm. House private at all other times. Please adhere to continued HSE & government guidelines & wear face coverings.

Annie’s funeral cortège will leave Steven’s home on Thursday morning at 11 am, arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for requiem Mass at 11:30 am with burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, where Annie will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Thomas.

Native of Tang, Co. Westmeath.

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Sadly missed by his loving wife Anna, daughters Dorinda, Sarah and Laura, son Dary, sons in law Stephen and Noel, daughter in law Joanne, grandchildren Kealan, Callum, Dara, Oren, Rua, Donnchadh, Ruarc, Elsie, James and Mae, brothers Tom, Joe and John, sisters Celine, Margaret, Kathleen, Bernie, Dolores and Phil, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. The death has occurred of Martin Kiernan, Mullinary, Carrickmacross. 30th January 2022. Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents John & Mae. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Nuala, his daughters Suzanne & Emma & his son James, his sons-in-law Gerard & Neil and daughter-in-law Bernita, his adored grandchildren Aaron, Oisín, Emily, Amy, Seán, Aoibhínn, Laura & Áine, his brother John & his sisters Anne & Catherine, his aunt Rose, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Maureen Sanderson (née McGlone)

Derryvalley, Ballybay, Monaghan

Peacefully, on Sunday, 30th January 2022, at Cavan Hospital.

Reposing at her home until removal on Tuesday morning, 1st February, at 10.30am for Funeral Mass in Saint Patrick's Church, Ballybay, at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral Mass may be viewed live via the webcam on link: http://www.churchservices.tv/ballybay
