It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Oran Donohoe

Glencurran, Carrickaboy, Cavan

Oran Donohoe "Glenview House", Glencurran, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan, 1st February 2022, predeceased by his Grandad Michael Donohoe. Cherished son of Seamus and Jacinta, (née Tynan) loving brother of Kiara, Regan and Caolain. Sadly missed by his loving parents, Seamus and his partner Ann Meade, Jacinta and her partner Tony Corcoran and his children Laurine, Dylan and Sean, brothers, sister, grandparents Elizabeth Donohoe, Michael and Kitty Tynan, uncles Martin Donohoe, Damien, Michael Jnr, Alan and David Tynan, aunts, Geraldine, Clare and Teresa Donohoe, Leighanne and Janine Tynan, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home (walk through only) On Thursday from 2pm until 9pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal on Friday morning at 11.30am to St Matthew's Church Drumavaddy to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in adjoining new cemetery.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Joey Gilheany

Drumcannon, Swanlinbar, Cavan / Mullingar, Westmeath

Formerly of Mullingar, Co Westmeath. February 1st 2022. Suddenly and Peacefully at his residence son of the late Joe and Mary Ellen, Brother of the late Peter (London). Deeply regretted by his sister Maureen (New York) and his brother Sean. sisters-in-law Maura (Drumcannon) and Margaret (London) Aunts Josie and Maureen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and his many friends from his playing days in the Red Sunbeam, Drifters and Times Showbands.

MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Joey's remains will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12 RF78 on Thursday, February 3, from 7-8pm. Walk through only no hugs or handshaking.

HOUSE STRICTLY PRIVATE AT ALL TIMES.

Joey's remains will leave his late residence on Friday at 10.30am to arrive at Saint Mary's Church, Swanlinbar for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with burial afterwards in the family plot in Killaduff Cemetery.
