It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Loreta Comaskey

78 Landsdown Village, Newbridge Ave., Sandymount, Dublin / Kilcogy, Cavan

The death has occurred of Loreta Comaskey, 78 Landsdown Village, Newbridge Ave., Sandymount, Dublin 4 and late Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by her brothers J. P. and Benny sisters Mary and Kathleen. Loreta will be sadly missed by her sisters Theresa, Carmel and Bernadette, brothers Eamon and Thomas.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Friday evening from 7 p m. Removal on Saturday morning from her home arriving Our Lady of Lourdes Church Mullahoran for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Mary Nolan (née Fox)

Oram, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mary Nolan (nee Fox), Oram and formerly Mullyash, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Thursday, February 3rd, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Mary, predeceased by her parents Annie and John. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her sons Colm, and Jonathan, her 6 cherished grandchildren, daughters in law, sisters Geraldine, Margaret, Esther and Philomena, brothers Gerard, Michael, Pearse, Raymond, Martin and Paul, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mary's funeral cortège will travel from her home on Saturday morning, proceeding on foot at 10:30am to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Oram for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please and donations, if desired, to MS Society or St.Vincent De Paul, c/o Wards Funeral Home or by Donation box. House strictly private and no Mass cards as by Mary's request.

Please adhere to the current Government and HSE, Covid guidelines while attending Mary's funeral.
