Grace McGettigan (née O'Connor)

Deanery Banks, Belturbet, Cavan / Dungloe, Donegal

The death has occurred of Grace McGettigan (née O’Connor), Deanery Banks, Belturbet, Co. Cavan (H14 EP26) formerly Quay Road, Dungloe, Co. Donegal, Friday 4th February 2022, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents, Paddy and Mary.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her dear husband Charlie, son Paul, daughters Lorraine and Sinead, brother Patrick, sister Sheila, daughter-in-law Aileen, adored grandchildren Josh, Sean, Leah, Noah, Jack, Sam and Charlie, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Grace's remains will be reposing at her residence today, Friday, from 5pm until 9pm and on Saturday from 12noon until 9pm. Removal of remains on Sunday, 6th February, at 12.30pm to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, (H14 KH50) for Funeral Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in Drumalee cemetery.

Eileen Donohoe

Redbank, New Jersey and Drumhilla, Poles, Cavan

Peacefully after a short illness at The Jersey Shore, Medical Centre. Beloved sister of Noleen, Susan and Hugh. Predeceased by her parents Philip and Elizabeth and sister Mary. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Bridget and brother-in-law Packie, cousins Maureen Carter, Peggy Lelivelt, Suzie Delaney, Kevin Donohoe and his wife Joan, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends in Ireland and America.

Removal on Monday to arrive at St. Dympna's Church, Lower Lavey at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. As we are still affected by Covid the family have requested that face masks are worn in the church, there will be no hand shaking, walk through only. Paddy Fidgeon

Castleross Nursing Home & formerly Bridge Street, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Paddy Fidgeon. Castleross Nursing Home & formerly Bridge Street, Carrickmacross. 4th February 2022. In his 90th year. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Castleross Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Eddie & Peggy & his brother Leo. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his sisters Mary (Smyth, Dundalk) & Sheila (Gilmore, UK), his nieces Julia, Shona & Jane and his nephews Mark, Eamon, Padraig & Declan, his cousins, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Paddy will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Saturday, 5th February, from 4pm until 7pm. Please adhere to continued HSE & government guidelines & wear face coverings.

Paddy's funeral cortège will leave Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Sunday, 6th February, at 11:40am proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Kathleen (Kay) Kelly (née Farnan)

Glendara, Kill, Kildare / Magheracloone, Monaghan

Kelly (née Farnan), Kathleen (Kay), Glendara, Kill, Co. Kildare and late of Magheracloone, Co. Monaghan, February 3rd 2022, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Ned, son Barry, daughter-in-law Julie, grandchildren Fionn and Niamh, sister May, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Kathleen will be reposing at Murphy Bros. Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas on Monday from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday from Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane at approx. 10:30am to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Kill for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by private family cremation. Those who are unable to attend the funeral, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section below.

Patrick (Purdy) McManus, 165 Carrowshee Park, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, February 2nd 2022 at his residence.

Reposing at his home from 6 pm this evening Friday till his removal on Monday morning at 10.40 am to arrive at Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea, for 11 am Requiem Mass. Burial in adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Hugh McCaffrey, Augherkelton, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan, Friday, 4th February, peacefully at The Lisdarn Unit, Cavan. Pre-deceased by his brothers Benny & Michael McCaffrey (Luton). Deeply regretted by his brother Vincent, sisters Kathleen & Evelyn, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Hugh's remains will repose at his residence on Saturday from 3pm - 9pm, family time on Sunday morning, please (Please adhere to to mask wearing and social distancing guidelines at all times). Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am at St. Mary's Church, Urbleshanny, Scotstown. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Hugh's Funeral Mass will be streamed live on ' Tydavnet Parish RC Churches' Facebook page.

Mourners are welcome to pay their respects as Hugh's funeral cortege travels to the church on Sunday morning.
