Colm Caffrey

Cormaddyduff, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Colm Caffrey, Cormaddyduff, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully, at St. Joseph's Private Nursing Home, Virginia, on 5 February 2022. Predeceased by his wife Anne, his brothers and sisters Andy, Peggy, Pat, Mary and Tom. Much loved father of Patrick, Karen, John and Helen. Sadly missed by his sons and daughters, daughters in law Stephanie and Aine, sons in law John and Daragh, his cherished grandchildren Amy, Evan, Rachel, Cara, Ellen, Kate, Jack, James, Emer, Emma, Alex, Oisin and Lily, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at his residence on Monday from 2 o'clock until 5 o'clock for family, neighbours and friends. All other times private, please.

Funeral cortège leaving Lakelands Crematorium on Tuesday, via Dunancory Bridge and Cormaddyduff, to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Castlerahan, for Funeral Mass at 1 o'clock with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen Anne Kitson (née Donohoe)

Rathdrum, Drumalee, Cavan

Kathleen Anne Kitson, (nee Donohoe) Rathdrum, Drumalee, Cavan and formerly Baileboro, Co. Cavan, Satuday, 5th February 2022, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Devoted and loving wife of the late Martin “Nicholas” Kitson and sister of the late Eileen Marie Connolly and Peter Donohoe. Kathleen will be very sadly missed by her loving Family, daughter Siobháin, son Mark and his wife Margaret, adored grandchildren Dominic and Elvie, sister Mary Farrelly, Fenit, Tralee and her husband Thomas, sister in law Margaret Kelly, Highfield Rd. (Cavan), brothers in law Seamus Kitson, Percy French, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, and Michael Connolly, London. nephews, nieces all her Family circle and many friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Kathleen’s funeral will arrive to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan, on Wednesday morning for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Following Mass, the cortege will proceed to Cullies Cemetery for committal prayers and burial in the family plot alongside her beloved husband Martin. Donations, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated by the family to The Irish Heart Foundation c/o of McMahon Funeral Directors, McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan, or any member of the family. Peter Hunt

20 Glenview Drive, Monaghan Town, Monaghan / Carracastle, Mayo

The death has occurred of Peter Hunt, 20 Glenview Drive, Monaghan. Eldest son of the late Denis & Mary Hunt, Brackloon, Carracastle, Co. Mayo and retired Detective Garda Sergeant, Sunday, 6th February, suddenly, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted and remembered with love with his heartbroken wife, Della, children, Finola (Wayne), Denis, Caroline (Ronan), Emma & Julie (Martin), granddaughter Alannah, brothers Tom, Frank & Gerard and the wider family circle.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Patrick (Packie) Treanor

Corviller, Braddox, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Packie) Treanor, Corviller, Braddox, Monaghan, Sunday, February 6th, peacefully, in his 90th year, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Packie, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, wife Rosaleen, sons Frank, John (Caroline), Declan (Patricia), Brendan (Philomena) and Michael, daughter Helen ( Padraig Mc Guinness, Three Mile House), his 12 cherished grandchildren, sister in law Anna-May, cousins, extended family and his many good neighbours and friends.

Packie will repose at his home, among his family, until removal on Tuesday morning at 10:30am to arrive at The Most Holy Rosary Church Tullycorbet for funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
