It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Maurice Adams

Killymarley, Monaghan Town, Monaghan, H18 NH22

Maurice passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital supported by his family. Deeply regretted by his close family members and the wider family circle.

Resting at the residence of his brother Robert (Bertie) Robbel Heights, Killymarley, Monaghan, H18NH22 on Thursday, 10th February, from 2pm to 8pm. The Family will hold a private service to celebrate the life of Maurice on Friday, 11th February,, which will be followed by a private burial in Coolshannagh graveyard, Monaghan.

Dermot Beattie

Scotshouse Village, Scotshouse, Monaghan

Dermot Beattie, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Deeply missed and remembered by his daughter Michelle (Neal McAllister) sons Shane (Siobhan), Gareth (Martina), Stephen (Martina) his sisters Gabrielle, Geraldine and Bernadette brothers- in -law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews extended family, friends and neighbours.

May He Rest In Peace.

Remains will be reposing at his residence on Thursday 10th from 4.00 to 9.00pm, all other times for family only. Funeral will take place on Friday morning after 11.00 am Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse to adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Palliative care Cavan / Monaghan, c/o Gerard McMahon, Funeral Director, any family member or by donation box.

Stephen McKenna

Mill Street, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occured of Stephen McKenna, Folkestone, Kent and formerly Mill Street, Monaghan.

Deeply regretted by his daughters Joyce and Karen, brothers Thomas (Dublin), Kevin (Monaghan) and Seán (Monaghan), sister Marie (Scotland), relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass in St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan on Saturday (12/02/2021) at 11 a.m., subject to Covid 19 guidelines.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Old Cemetery, Latlurcan.
