It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Brendan Brady

Coppenagh and St. John's Close, Lurgan Glebe, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred peacefully of Brendan Brady, Coppenagh, Virginia and St. John's Close, Lurgan Glebe, Virginia, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, on 13 March 2022.

Predeceased by his father and mother Terry and Kitty.

Sadly missed by his loving sister Marian and his cherished nephews Leon and Keith, his brother in law Noel, extended family and his friends in St. John's Close , Virginia.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his sister's residence in Park View, Deerpark, Ballyjamesduff Road, Virginia on Friday 18th of March from 2 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock.

Removal on Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church Lurgan for 11 oc'lock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Mattie Dunne

Bruise, Lisduff, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Mattie Dunne, Bruise, Lisduff, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully at his residence on 13th March 2022., surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his daughter Anne and his son in law Paul. Much-loved husband of Bridie and adored father of Philip, Jimmy and Geraldine ( Glackin) and cherished grandfather of Amber, Annie, Harry, Sadhbh, Oisin and Caitlin and great-grandfather of Lily-Rose and Matthew. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, daughters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his residence on Monday from 3 o'clock until prayers at 6 o'clock. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Matthew’s Church, Maghera, arriving for 12 o'clock Funeral Mass, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

May his gentle soul Rest In Eternal Peace.
