Alice Carolan (née Clarke)

Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Cavan

Alice Carolan (nee Clarke) Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan died 21st of March 2022, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Peter. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Marion and Rita, sons Thomas and Sean, sons in law, daughter in law, sister in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at Clarkes Funeral Home, Bailieborough Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Walk through only please and wearing of masks appreciated. Removal from her family home Wednesday morning at 10.40am to arrive at St Brigid's Church, Knockbride West (Tunnyduff) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Micheál McConnon

Rocks Road, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Micheál McConnon, Rocks Road, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, suddenly at his home, 19th March, 2022.

Predeceased by his parents Michael & Kathleen and his brothers Patrick & Jim. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Brenda, sisters Anna & Brenda, brothers Aidan, Seán, Gene, Cieran & Martin. Sadly missed by his mother-in-law Patsi, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Thursday, 24th March from 2pm to 9pm.

Micheál’s Funeral Mass will take place at 10am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt on Friday, 25th March with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Micheál’s funeral cortège will begin from his home on Friday morning, travelling to the Church of the Immaculate Conception via St. Mary’s Road, Lower Main Street, and Hall Street from 9.30 am.

Kieran Brennan

Gortmore North, Smithborough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Kieran Brennan, President of Bad Examples Motor Cycle Club, Old Gortmore School, Gortmore North, Smitborough, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Gallagh, Clontibret, Co.Monaghan, Saturday March 19th, tragically following a road traffic accident.

Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, sons Marc, Finn and Shay; Aaron Mc Elvaney, whom Kieran was very close to. Parents Thomas and Sadie, brothers and sisters Gary, Stephen, Damian, Brenda, Patrice and their partners; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends nation wide, including his club members of Bad Examples MCC.

Kieran will repose at his residence in Gortmore North, Smithborough (H18 W997) on Thursday from 10am until 10pm and again on Friday from 10am until 10pm. Kieran’s funeral cortège will travel from his residence on Saturday morning at 10am, via (Monaghan Town, Park St., The Diamond and Dublin St.) to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Clontibret for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Aghagaw, Smithboro, Monaghan

Peacefully at home.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Louise, children Philip (Amanda), Niall (Rebecca), Sinéad (Ethan) and Conor, sisters Gay, Pauline, Berny and Kathy, brother Kieran, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (22/03/2022) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday (23/03/2022) from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., subject to Covid 19 guidelines.

Removal on Thursday at 1.30 p.m., arriving at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for cremation at 2.30 p.m.

Brendan McDermott

Bishopscourt, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Brendan Mc Dermott, Bishopscourt, Clones, Co.Monaghan. Brendan passed away unexpectedly in the loving care of his wife Ann, Monday 21st March.

Beloved husband of Ann and adored father of Fiona (Shane Moore) and Joseph (Aimee), devoted grandfather of Megan, Ryan, Charlee, Flynn,and Broady. Brendan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, sister Geraldine (Maguire, Newbliss), brothers James (Newbliss) and Jonney,( Clones ), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved him. Brendan is predeceased by his sister Winnie and brothers Benny and Liam.

Tom McNally, Follistown, Hayes, Navan, has passed away peacefully, March 18th 2022. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret; his brother John. Tom will be sadly missed by his cousins Phyllis (Brendan) and Nancy, relatives, his extremely good neighbours Tony and Anne Craven and Noel Hanratty and friends.

Reposing in the Fitzsimons Funeral Home with removal on Wednesday morning to Johnstown Church for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Old Kilcarn Cemetery.

MEEGAN (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of St. Finbarr’s Terrace, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan) – March 20th 2022 (peacefully) at home. Vera; She will be very sadly missed by her loving nieces, nephews nieces-in-law nephews-in-law, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, friends, neighbours and carers.
