Cavan to take stage at Ulster Scór Final

Cavan will compete in five out of eight disciplines in the Ulster Scór na nÓg finals this afternoon (Saturday), April 2, in Armagh and the event will be streamed live on the web.

The competitions will get underway in Silverbridge, Co Armagh, at 4pm.

Saidhbh O’Reilly from Mullahoran will represent the county in the recitation with her piece ‘An Old Man’s Wish’. She will be accompanied by clubmate Dáire Halton on flute.

Cornafean will fly the flag in the Novelty Act with their play ‘Be Wary of the Fairies’. The team are Dara Geoghegan, Doireann and Aine McGibney; Cilian, Tomas and Roisin Duignan; Ellen and Tom Creegan.

The Mullahoran instrumental group will also take to the stage in the second half to perform ‘Ships in Full Sail’ and ‘Devaney’s Goat’. They are Enya and Fionn Higgins, Dáire Halton, Brendan O’Reilly and Kate Fegan.
