Cavan to represent Ulster in two acts in Scór na nÓg finals

Two Cavan teams will compete in the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg finals in Killarney this weekend with Mullahoran GFC flying the flag for the Breffni county.

Mullahoran’s Saidhbh O’Reilly will compete in Recitation for her club, county and province when she takes to the stage at the INEC at the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney tomorrow afternoon (Sunday). She will perform a piece called 'An Old Man's Wish'.

Her clubmate Dáire Halton will provide beautiful musical accompaniment on flute.

The Mullahoran quiz team also qualified for the All-Ireland following a thrilling tie-breaker in Ulster. They are Conor Sharpe, Aoibhe Reilly, Enya Higgins and Brendan O’Reilly.

They are among 12 teams to compete in the tráth na gCeist in the Gleneagle Hotel on Sunday morning. The top three teams will go forward to the stage segment of the Scór na nÓg finals in the afternoon with a live audience.

Those who cannot make the journey to Killarney will be able to watch the finals live on TG4’s Youtube Channel and a link will be posted on official GAA platforms in advance.

The show starts at 3pm and winners are expected to be announced around 8pm.
