Michael Brady

Errigal, Cootehill, Cavan

Michael Brady Beaumont, Dublin and formerly Errigal, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, August 10th 2022 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his Parents and Siblings. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughter Marcella, son-in-law Chris and grandchildren Tom, Meg, Izzy, Abby, Ally and Lottie, brother Noel (Rosie) (Errigal), Sisters Bridie (London) and Sue (Spain), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home, Cootehill this Friday evening from 5.30 to 8.00pm. Funeral cortege leaving Mullen’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Middle Chapel for 12 noon funeral mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Those who would like to leave a message for the family can do so in the condolence section below. The Brady family would like to thank you for your consideration and co-operation at this sad time.

Memorial Mass this Saturday August 13th in St. Patrick’s Church, Corlough at 12 noon followed by Burial of Ashes in the adjoining cemetery.

Frank Peter Kennedy

Stranamorth, Blacklion, Cavan

1st November 1941 – 26th July 2020

Memorial Mass on Tuesday, 16th August 2022, at 11.00am in St Patrick’s Church, Killinagh, Blacklion, followed by burial of ashes afterwards in Killinagh Cemetery.

Frank leaves behind his 4 daughters; Susanna, Caroline, Irene and Sylvie and his 10 grandchildren, his brothers Pat, John and Gerry, Jim and sister Susan, cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family in America, England, Ireland, neighbours and friends. Sadly missed by all.

John Mc Namara

41 Thornhill, Sligo Town, Sligo, F91 FFY2 / Cavan

and late of John Mc Namara Hardware, High Street, Sligo

Peacefully on August 10th 2022, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo following a long illness borne with courage and dignity.

Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Kathleen and brother Tom. Beloved husband and best friend of Noreen, dearly loved dad of Sinéad, Colin, Ronan and Kieran and cherished grandad of Meelagh, Rowan, Conor, Holly, Emma-Jane, Cara and Réaltín (born an angel). He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren, sisters Mary (Dublin) and Breda (Donegal), daughters-in-law Jeni, Laura and Emma, son-in-law Andy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday August 12th from 4pm until 7pm. Family home private at all other times. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday August 13th at 11:30am in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Funeral Mass will be livestreamed via www.sligocathedral.ie Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.

Elizabeth (Betty) O'DOHERTY (née Casserly)

Drumcondra, Dublin / Mountain Lodge, Cavan

O’DOHERTY Elizabeth (Betty), (of Drumcondra, Dublin 9, formerly Mountain Lodge, Co. Cavan), August 10th 2022 (peacefully) at the Mater Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother to Francis (Frank) and mother-in-law to Brigitta; very sadly missed by her son, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law Nora and Sandy, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Betty’s family wish to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff at Highfield Healthcare, and Vanessa Ward, St Patricks University Hospital.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, North Strand on Sunday, August 14th, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Monday morning to St Columba's Church, Iona Rd., arriving for 10.30am mass. Agnes Mullarkey (née Beggan)

Baldoyle, Dublin / Sutton, Dublin / Clones, Monaghan

Mullarkey (née Beggan) Agnes, Baldoyle and Sutton and formerly of Clones, Co. Monaghan. Passed away peacefully, in the care of Beaumont Hospital on 11th August 2022. Beloved wife of Paddy. Truly special Mum to Úna, Catherine, Fiona and Conall. Very sadly missed by her husband, children, sons-in-law Mark, Peter and Dara, daughter-in-law Brona, her adored grandchildren Alia, James, Kate, Simon, Jane, Ella, Ruth, Conall, David and Laura, sisters Mary, Margo, Gabrielle, Christina, Gemma, Teresa and Frances, brothers John, Jim, Eddie, Tierney and Michael, and also remembering her late mother Mary, father John, brother Pat and sisters Nuala and Catherine. Agnes will also be missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many many good friends and neighbours.

Cecilia O'Reilly (née McElroy)

Fermanagh Terrace, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Cecilia O'Reilly (née McElroy), Fermanagh Terrace, Clones, Co. Monaghan. Wednesday, 10th August. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family at Lisdarn, Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Paddy, her daughter Susan, her son Tony and her sisters Sissy and Pat.

Cecilia will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family, her daughter Brenda Brennan (& Kevin, Dundalk), her sons Jim and Patrick (Siobhan, Tyholland), grandchildren, Clare, Emer, Katie, Keelan, Hannah, Dylan and Grace, her brother Hugh (Dublin) and sister Geraldine (Dublin), extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved Cecilia

Cecilia will repose at the family home, (House private Please). Cecilia's Funeral cortége will leave the family home at 10.45am on Saturday morning, 13th August, to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the Sacred Hearts Cemetery.
