Louis McQuade

Church View, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Louis Mc Quade, Chur­ch View, Virginia, Co. Cavan peacefully at home on the eve of his 95th birthday, surrounded by his loving famil­y. Predeceased by his beloved wife Judit­h. Sadly missed by his sons Sean and Packie and his daughter Ke­rry. Deeply regretted by his sons and daughte­r, his daughter in laws Fiona and Sandra, his cherished and adored grandchildren; Jack, Karl, Sean Jnr., Aaron, Ben, Har­ry, Ellen, Louis, Ju­liet, Isabelle, his sisters Joyce Loyram (England), Carol Mc Donagh (Dunancory, Virginia) and Joan Mc Conn (Rahardrum, Virginia), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Resting at Matthews 'Funeral Home, Bailie­borough Road, Virgin­ia (A82YV58) on Mond­ay from 5 o’clock un­til 8 o’clock please. Walk through only please.

Funeral on Tuesday in Virginia Church Of Ireland at 2pm, fol­lowed by private cre­mation in Lakelands Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Cavan Monaghan Palli­ative Service.

Nuala Friskey (née Markey)

Laurel Hill Place, Castleblayney, Monaghan

Nuala Friskey née Markey, Laurel Hill Place, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Lee, London, Sunday 28th August 2022 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her son Daniel, mother Bridgy, father Frank, sisters Kathleen, Bridie and Mae, brothers Dermot and Frank. Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by her son Michael, daughters Kathleen and Colleen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Martin and Sean, sister-in-law Anita, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Laurel Hill Place from 2 pm to 8 pm on Monday with removal on Tuesday morning at 10:30 am arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

House private on Tuesday morning, please.
