Arrest in organised crime investigation
A man has been arrested as part of a major Garda operation tackling organised crime.
The man, who's in his mid-20s, was arrested in Sligo yesterday morning (September 6). Gardaí say the arrest is part of the ongoing investigation into organised crime in the Sligo/Leitrim Division.
He's the 10th person to be detained as part of the operation and the second to be charge.
He's expected to appear before Loughrea District Court sitting in Ballinasloe today.
Investigations are ongoing.
