Val Beatty

Killamority, Ballyconnell, Cavan / Leitrim

Peacefully, at St Joseph's Unit, Lisdarn, Cavan, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Mamie and brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by son Declan, daughter Adrienne (Donohoe), daughter-in-law Michelle, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren Luke, Grace, Adam, Gemma and Aaron, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Lawlor's funeral home, Erne Hill, Belturbet (Eircode H14 R583) on Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Removal from the funeral home on Friday morning at 11.15am to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Kilnavart, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Christine Donohoe (née McMahon)

Corfad, Stradone, Cavan

The death has occurred of Christine Donohoe, Corfad, Stradone, Co. Cavan. Sadly missed by her husband, Sean, family members, relatives and friends.

A private funeral and cremation took place on September 20th, 2022.

May she rest in peace.

Carmel McDonald (née Lambe)

Carrickleck, Kingscourt, Cavan, A82 N124 / Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Kingscourt, Meath

The death has occurred of Carmel McDonald (née Lambe), Carrickleck, Kingscourt, Co. Meath and formerly of Derrynaglagh, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at her home, 20th September 2022.

Predeceased by her parents Pat & Kathleen, brother Frank, sister Ann and niece Siobhán.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Arthur, son Patrick, sisters Marian & Madge, brothers Michael, Luke, Pat Joe & Tom. Sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Audrey, grandchildren Ryan & Caitlin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home (Eircode A82 N124) on Wednesday from 5pm to 9pm and on Thursday from 2pm until 9pm. Carmel’s Funeral Mass will take place on Friday 23rd September in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt at 10am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

William Reilly

Stoneybatter, Dublin / Belturbet, Cavan

REILLY, William, (late of Stoneybatter, Dublin formerly Donaghmede, Dublin/Ballyconnell, Cavan and originally Belturbet, Cavan) peacefully on 19th September, after a short illness.

Beloved and devoted husband of the late Jo, adoring father of the late Eileen and loving brother of the late John.

Willie will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving family, sister Maureen, daughter Abina, sons Bill and Joe, son-in-law Rónán, daughters-in-law Suzanne and Tara, grandchildren Yvonne, Liam and Áine, brother-in-law Jimmy and the late George, Sean, John and Liam, sister-in-law Rose and the late Pat, Doreen and Una, nieces, nephews, cousins and wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Kirwan’s Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Thursday, 22nd September, from 5pm until 7pm with a Humanist Service at Glasnevin Crematorium on Friday, the 23rd September, at 2pm.

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Sadly missed by his sons Gerard, Stephen, Brian, Kevin and Christopher, daughters in law, grandchildren Nikita, Michael, Shauna, Chantelle, Ciara, Josh, Stephen, Sophie and Lucy, sister Evelyn, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday (21/09/2022) and on Thursday (22/09/2022), subject to Covid 19 guidelines. House private at other times please. Removal on Friday (23/09/2022) at 10.15 a.m. arriving at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.

The death has occurred of May McCarron, Chestnut Lodge Care Home, Benburb and formerly of Cavanmoutry, Killybrone, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, at Belfast City Hospital, Tuesday 20th September. Pre-deceased by her husband Patsy, parents James & Susan and sister Geraldine. May will be missed by her sister Ann, nieces Geraldine and Edel and entire family circle and friends.

Mc Gough Kathleen, (Drumcondra, Dublin and formerly Monaghan), (peacefully) on 18th September 2022 in the loving care of staff at Beechlawn Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents. Sadly missed by her loving brothers Patrick (Monaghan) & Eugene and sister Jane (USA), Carroll family (Shercock, Co. Cavan) and Davis Family (Dublin), nieces, nephews and all the Sisters, staff and her many friends in Beechlawn Nursing Home.

Requiem Mass at 11.15am on Friday (September 23rd) in Beechlawn Nursing Home followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
