Sheila Gray

Main Street, Killeshandra, Cavan

Sheila Gray (Gray's Supermarket), Main Street, Killeshandra, County Cavan, 4th January 2023, peacefully in Esker Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Terry and daughter Imelda. Very deeply regretted by her son Tom, daughter Rosaire, grandson Turlough, daughter-in-law Catherine, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McMahon's Funeral Home, Cavan on Friday, 6th January, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral on Saturday in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

Kathleen Lenaghan (née Fitzsimons)

Cartronfree, Kilcogy, Cavan / Belfast, Antrim

Lenaghan, Kathleen (nee Fitzsimons), Raby St., Belfast and formerly of Cartronfree, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan, Thursday, 5th Jan, peacefully at her home. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family circle.

Reposing at her home in Belfast from 12pm to 8pm on Friday, 6th Jan. Removal to Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran for requiem mass on Saturday, 7th Jan, at 12pm, followed by removal to Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd., Cavan, H12RF78.

Darren Stephen Norris

The death has occurred of Darren Stephen Norris, suddenly,

London. Mullagh and recently Belturbet, Co. Cavan.

Predeceased by his adored nan Teresa Saunders and father Brian Norris Survived by mother Ann Norris (Mullagh), grandfather Arthur (Soko) Saunders, sisters Julie Brady (Mullagh), Donna Rogers (Kent, England), brothers in law Dean and Ian, nieces and nephews, Aunt and Uncle and a large circle of family and friends.

Mary Tully (Née Conaty) Carriga, Crosskeys, Co Cavan Thursday 5th January 2023, Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Patrick and dear mother of Mae Smith (Charlie), Eamon, Charles and Patrick, Proud grandmother of Pauric, Declan, Yvonne, Sharon and 6 great-grandchildren.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin road, Cavan tomorrow Friday from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12.00 noon, in St Dympna's Church Lower, Lavey with interment afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.

The family kindly request those who come to pay their respects to refrain from handshaking and appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.

ANNIE BOYLAN (née QUIGLEY)

The death has occurred of Annie Boylan (née Quigley), peacefully at home in her 93rd year surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Packie Boylan. Predeceased by her daughters Patricia and Annette, sister Phyllis Murphy, brothers Tom, Benny, Paddy and Basil. Much loved mother of Kathrena, PJ, Gerard, Deirdre and Lorraine. Sadly missed and remembered with love by sisters Detta Lavoie Boston, Joan Dowdall Blackstaff, brother in law, sisters in law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at her residence from 6pm until 10 pm today and from 12pm until removal at 19.30 Friday, 6th Jan 2023, to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen arriving for 8pm, Requiem Mass at 11 am Saturday. Burial afterwards in St Marys Cemetery.

Martin Donnelly

Castleblayney Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Martin Dedacus Donnelly. Castleblayney Road & formerly of John Donnelly & Sons, Main Street, Carrickmacross. 25th December 2022. In his 95th year. Peacefully, in the tender care and expertise of the staff at Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross. Predeceased by his parents, John & Mary; his brothers, Peadar, Thomas, John, Gerry, Brendan and Patsy; and his sisters Molly, Josephine, and Kitty.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his five nieces, Muriel, Gabrielle, Joan, Jacqueline, and Meliosa, his cousins, Delores Donovan, Gary Donnelly and his many great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Martin will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81D328, on Friday, 13th January, from 3pm until 5pm. Martin's funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Saturday, 14th January, at 10:45am, driving to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Louis Treanor (Paddy)

Tirkeenan, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Louis Treanor (Paddy), Tirkeenan Monaghan and formerly of Mullaghmore, Tydavnet, Co.Monaghan, Thursday 5th January, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, aged 75, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his father Patrick and mother Agnes, sister Anna and brothers Michael, John and Frankie and his brother in law Packie Sweeney, died 30th December 2022 in Luton, England. Louis was the beloved husband of Frances (née Caulfied), loving father of Louise, Caroline (Paddy) and Derek (Eileen) and devoted Grandfather to Oscar, Edie, Justin and Katelyn. Sadly missed by his brothers, Hugh (Goretti) and Kevin (Ann), nephews, nieces, his brothers and sisters in law from both the Treanor and Caulfield families and the wider family circle.

Louis funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11am in St Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan, burial afterwards in Latlurcan Cemetery.
