John Dowd

Killycasson, Loughduff, Mullahoran, Cavan

Dowd, John, Killycasson, Loughduff, Mullahoran, Co. Cavan, Wed 24th May, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his son Vivian and his brother Kevin. Sadly missed by his devoted wife Ann, and adoring family, his son; Sean, his daughter; Gemma, daughters in law; Maeve and Cathy, his treasured grandchildren; Sean Jr, Kirsten, David, Nathan, Aaron, Amy, Sarah, Cameron, Dylan and Vivienne, brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; relatives, extended family and a large circle of close neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium, Cavan (H12 RF78) on Sat 27th May, from 5pm to 8pm. John's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, Loughduff on Sun 28th May, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Helen (Nell) Hannigan (née Lynch)

Kinmore, Maguiresbridge, Fermanagh / Cavan

Helen Hannigan (Nell), (née Lynch) Kinmore, Maguiresbridge, Co. Fermanagh. Died Thursday, 25th May, peacefully in hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved Wife of the late John (R.I.P.) and loving mother to Marian McCaffrey (Paddy), Helen Collins (Anthony), Paddy (Barbara), Margaret Hannigan (Sean) and Veronica Phair (Noel). Dear sister of Bridie, Dympna, and Nancy. Predeceased by her siblings Pat, Matt, Benny, Mary and Kathleen (R.I.P.).

Nell will repose at her late residence this evening (Thursday) from 6pm until 10pm and again on Friday from 3pm until 10pm with removal on Saturday morning at 10.20am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Maguiresbridge for 11am Requiem mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Nell will be sadly missed by her son, daughters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and all the family circle.

Kerrigan, Martin - May 25, 2023(Late of Ballyjamesduff, Cavan and formerly Millbrook Ave., Ayrfield, Dublin)(peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Sarah, his sons Marty and Sammy, his daughters Ethel, Caroline, Sandra, Elaine, Mary, Sharon and Sarah, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter in law, sons in law, extended family and friends.

Kathleen Kieran (née Ruddy)

The death has occurred of Kathleen Kieran (née) Ruddy)

Beloved mother and grandmother, Kathleen passed peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished wife of the late Harry, adored mother to Mary (Michael) Duffy, Corravackan, Latton, Michael (Paula), Martin (Rebecca), Cathriona, Anne (Fintan) and Henry (Patrice). Much loved Granny to Karen, Shauna, Gavin, Aoife, Niamh, Emma, Katie, Annie, Jessica, Emily and Harry. Sadly missed by her best friend and sister in-law Phyllis Ruddy, her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Edward and Katie Ruddy, her brothers Jim and Packie (Corrateemore, Broomfield) sister Annie McGeeney and brother in-law Barney McGeeney (Drumbee), brothers in-law Pat and Mick Kieran (Keenogue) and sisters in-law Molly Kelly (Broomfield) and Kathleen Markey (Donaghmoyne).

Kathleen will be sadly missed by all her neighbours and many, many friends.

Kathleen is reposing at her home from Thursday, 25th May, from 2pm-10pm and Friday, 26th May, from 2pm-9pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, 27th May, at 11am in Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen. Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Inniskeen.

James (Jimmy) Mc Govern

Cara St, Clones, Monaghan / Baldoyle, Dublin

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Mc Govern, Cara St, Clones, Co. Monaghan, and Baldoyle, Dublin, Wednesday 24th May, peacefully, at The Hermitage Clinic, Dublin in the care of the staff and surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Mary and James and his sister Nuala Crudden.

Beloved brother of Bernard, Joseph, Marie (Mc Brien) and Edward. Jimmy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved Jimmy.

Jimmy will repose at the Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 this Thursday evening from 5pm to 9pm with removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Una O'Reilly (nee Scott), 14 Cappog, Ballinode, Co. Monaghan, Thursday, 25th May. Una passed away peacefully at the residence of her daughter Majella and son-in-law Paul Calliagh, Stranooden, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Catherine and Michael, her husband Ned, her sisters Roseleen Mc Cabe and Margaret Gallagher, her brothers Tommy, Benny and Francis.

Cherished and much loved mother of Majella (Paul Swift, Calliagh, Stranooden), Catherine (O'Toole, Ballinode, Kieran), Brid (PJ Roche, New York, USA), Aine (O'Reilly, Carlingford, Johnny), Eamonn (Athy, Co. Kildare), Anita (Colin Harvey, Ballinode), Gary (Breda, Davagh, Emyvale), Brian (Ashley, North Coralina), Scott (Eileen, Carlow Town).

Una will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Kathleen (Burren, Co. Down) and brother Jimmy (Mullandavagh, Monaghan), sisters-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Una.

Una will be resting at the family residence 14 Cappog, Ballinode, H18YD53 Friday 26th and Saturday 27th from 2pm till 9pm, family time at all other times please.
