Bereavement notices for Cavan and Monaghan

It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Francie Rudden

Mountpleasant, Ballyconnell, Cavan

August 4th 2023 peacefully at Cavan general hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Mick & Agnes, brothers Brian & Jimmy.

Deeply regretted by his loving son Barry, daughter Lynda, their mother Josie, brother Chris, sister Pat, son-in-law Brian, daughter-in-law Fiona, grandchildren Serena, Nathan, Tara, Lauren, Jason, Alanna & Izzy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow Sunday from 5 o'clock until 9 o'clock. House private at all other times please. Removal on Monday morning arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes church, Ballyconnell for funeral mass at 12 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Cecil Campbell

Blackpool, England, Rockcorry, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Cecil Campbell on Tuesday the 1st August Blackpool, England and formerly Rockcorry, Co Monaghan. Peacfully surrounded by his loving family at Blackpool Victoria Hospital England.

Predeceased by his parents Eddie and Isobel (Campbell), his brother Fred and his sister Betty. Cecil will be sadly missed by his loving wife Myrtle, his daughters Stephanie and Pamela, his sons in law Stephen and Kevin, his grandchildren Christopher, Adam, Abbie and Caoimhe, his brother Norman, sister Sylvia, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew Cecil.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Service and cremation on Friday 18th August in Blackpool England. Service of thanksgiving in St. Patrick's Church Monaghan, date and details to follow.
