Margaret Flanagan (née Matthews)

Skearke, Moynalty, Meath / Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Margaret Flanagan (née Matthews), Skearke, Moynalty, Kells, Co. Meath and formerly Longfield, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and the wonderful caring staff at Kilmainhamwood Nursing Home.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Tommie, daughter, Helen, sisters Brigid and is survived by her daughter Maureen, sons Thomas and Michael and is sadly missed by son-in-law Hugh, daughter-in-law Kathleen and Michael’s partner Amanda, grandchildren Thomas, Shane, Christine, Edward, Emily, Laura, Sean and Angus, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May She Rest In Peace

Mel McCormack

London and formerly of Snakeel, Killeshandra, Cavan

The death has occurred of Mel McCormack, Leyton, London and formerly of Snakeel, Killeshandra, County Cavan. Peacefully, at the Margaret Centre, Leyton, following a short illness. Predeceased by his father Eugene and sister Sinead (infant). Mel will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Lisa, children Ciara and Christopher, mother Rose, brothers Colm, Kieran (Carmel), Brendan (Ann), sisters Rita, Fiona Nulty (Garrett), nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, mother-in-law Peggy and friends. May He Rest in Peace

Memorial Mass will take place in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra (H12 DD79) on Saturday, 11th November, at 12.30pm. Funeral Mass will take place in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Grange Park Road, London E10 5ES, England at 11am on Tuesday, 21st November. Interment afterwards in nearby St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, London E11 4HL.

Thomas Fox

Cormoy, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Thomas Fox, Cormoy, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at his residence, Wednesday 1st November 2023. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, daughter Amanda, son Darren, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Celine, his beloved grandchildren Megan, Dylan, Ryan, Cormac, Eimear and Tomás, brothers Jim and Timothy, sisters Rose, Caroline and Geraldine, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. ​​​​​May His Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and Friday afternoon from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning from his residence to St. Lastra’s Church, Donaghmoyne arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. House Strictly Private. Paddy (Patrick) Keenan

Faraghy, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Monaghan, A75 CT98 / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Paddy (Patrick) Keenan. Faraghy, Shantonagh, Castleblayney. 1st November 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, in the loving care of the staff at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan. Predeceased by his parents Peter & Ellen and his brother Brian.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Ann, his sons Tony & Paraic and his daughters Jacinta Cassidy & Regina McCabe, his daughter-in-law Geraldine and his sons-in-law Vinny & Michael, his much-loved grandchildren; Seán, James, Conor, Bronagh, Róisín & Tom, his brothers Peter & Gerard and his sisters Mary Strong & Angela McCabe, his mother-in-law Teresa McCabe, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours. MAY HE REST IN PEACE. Paddy will repose at his home, Faraghy, on Thursday, 2nd November, from 2pm until 9pm. Paddy's funeral cortège will leave his home on Friday, 3rd November, proceeding to St. Michael's Church, Corduff, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
