Snow and ice warning continues in Ulster until midnight

Lowest temperatures of -4 to -1 degrees with light northwest breezes

A yellow snow and ice warning continues for counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, Derry and will remain in place until midnight tonight.

Meanwhile, frequent heavy snow showers will continue to push inland, likely disrupting travel across the Ulster region.

Frost, icy stretches, patches of fog or freezing fog will start to clear slowly this afternoon but will linger in some areas all day.

Temperatures of just 0 to 3 degrees. Tonight will be a very cold night with widespread frost and icy stretches. Mostly dry with clear spells and patches of fog and freezing fog. Some wintry showers, mainly in the north and west of Ulster. Lowest temperatures of -4 to -1 degrees with light northwest breezes.

Thursday will continue very cold with frost, ice and fog clearing slowly and lingering in places all day. Scattered wintry showers will extend down on the province with highest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees with light northwest breezes.
