Agnes Clarke

(née Carroll)

Seefin, Bailieborough, Cavan

Agnes Clarke nee Carroll, Seefin, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 24th January 2024 surrounded by her family at her residence. Predeceased by her husband Benny, son Michael, her brother and seven sisters.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, son Patsy, daughters Mary and Catherine, daughters-in-law Regina and Bridgid, sons-in-law Owen and Michael, her sixteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Thursday, 25th January, from 5pm - 8pm. Removal from her residence on Friday morning at 10:40am to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Knockbride West (Tunnyduff) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret Kelly

(née Brady)

Clonmore, Clones, Monaghan / Belturbet, Cavan

The death has occurred of Margaret Kelly (nee Brady), Clonmore, Clones, Co. Monaghan, and formerly of Feughmaxwell, Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, 24th January 2024. Predeceased by her twin brother Martin Brady. Beloved wife of Eamon and adored mother of Aideen, Elaine and Conor. Margaret will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughters, son, much loved grandson Íarlaith, sons-in-law, sister Sheila Brady, brothers Sean and PJ, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Margaret.

Margaret will repose at the Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 this Thursday evening from 4pm to 8pm with removal on Friday morning at 11am to the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the Mount St Oliver's Cemetery. No flowers please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care by donation box in the family room or any family member. Margaret's funeral cortège to the chapel will travel via Scarva, Cumber Bridge, McCurtain St, walking from The Diamond and Fermanagh St.

David Kelly

Portmarnock, Dublin / Cavan

Kelly, David (Portmarnock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Moynehall, Cavan) suddenly and unexpectedly at home, beloved husband of Jacinta, loving father of Caoimhe, Eoin and Maria. Very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, Caoimhe’s partner James, Eoin’s partner Lauren, brothers and sisters Paul (Maureen), John (Siobhan), Suzanne, Helen (Tarzisius), Miriam (Pete), Colin (Louise) and Yvonne (John), sister-in-law Ruth (John), nieces, nephews, grand nephew, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday, 26th January, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal to St. Anne’s Church, Portmarnock on Saturday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul.

Michael Mc Cormack

Lackenmore, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Michael Mc Cormack, late of Lackenmore, Ballyjamesduff and Clover Lodge Nursing Home, Athy, Co. Kildare, peacefully on 24th January at Nass General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Kathleen, brothers Hughie and Jimmy, sisters Elizabeth, Mary Kate, Brigid, Rosaleen, Nora and nephew Tony. Deeply regretted by his cousins Kitty Mc Cormack and Josie Kearns, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, The Green, Kilnaleck (A82 DX59) on Thursday 25th from 5pm to 7pm with removal to St Mary Church Crosserlough arriving at 8pm. Funeral mass Friday at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Crosserlough. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael Whelan

Dromore, Bailieborough, Cavan / Swords, Dublin

Michael Whelan, Dromore, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan and formerly of Highfield, Swords, Co. Dublin died on the 23rd January 2024, peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his Beloved wife Peggy, daughters Elaine and Sandie.

Sadly missed by his loving sons Anthony and Eric (Jennifer), Daughter in Law Sarah, Sister Phylis, grandchildren Glen, Ava, Georgina, Ruby, Sophie, Abbie and Emily, nieces, nephews, extended family, his good friends David, Jenny and Padraic, good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Friday, 26th January, from 10am - 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to arrive at The Church of Mary Immaculate, Virginia for Funeral Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Joe Maher

49 Glencove Manor, Monaghan Town, Monaghan / Galway

Peacefully at University College Hospital, Galway. Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Mulligan), his parents Denis and Ann, his brothers Fr. Michael and Patrick and his sisters Mary and Sheila. Sadly missed by his sisters Kathleen (Oates), Christina (Chris Maher) and Theresa (Conway), brothers in law, sisters in law, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square, Monaghan (eircode H18K377) on Friday (26/01/2024) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal from his home on Saturday (27/01/2024) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Magherarney. House private please.
