Joan Bagnall (nee Brady) Carnisle/Shanco, Ballivor, Co. Meath and formerly Portlawney, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, 13th February. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a long and fulfilling life with her family, friends and customers. Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy (Patrick), her parents, brothers and sisters. Much loved Mother of Padraic, Yvonne, Mary, Brendan, Niall, Colette, Anthony, Gráinne, Sinéad, brother Vincent, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great granddaughter, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Reposing at Heffernans Funeral Home, High Street, Trim, C15 HDT1 on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon in the Church

of Saint Columbanus, Ballivor, which can be viewed here followed by burial in the local cemetery.

Bernard (Benny) Martin

Quivvy, Cornafean, Arva, Cavan

Bernard (Benny) Martin, Quivvy, Cornafean, Co Cavan and Castlemanor Nursing home, Cavan. Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Tuesday February 13th.

Pre-deceased by his parents Philip and Mary Ann, his sister Bridget and brother Eugene.

Benny will be sadly missed by his cousins and a large circle of good neighbours and close friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Wednesday evening from 6.30pm until 8.00pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coronea to arrive for Requiem Mass at 3.00pm, Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

Ena Thompson

(née McCaffrey)

Main Street, Killeshandra, Cavan

Ena Thompson (nee McCaffrey), Main Street, Killeshandra, (formerly Killygoan), County Cavan, 13th February 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the devoted care of the staff of Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet. Predeceased by her husband Leo, brother Seamus and sisters Eileen, Katie, Molly, Nancy, Vera and Chrissie. Very sadly missed by her son Liam (Ann Marie), daughters Catherine (Daniel), Fiona (Mark), grandchildren Gerard (Nicole), Rebecca (Ronan), Conor, Darragh, Kavan, Rossa, Dallan, Caelan and great-granddaughter Ruby, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home, Belturbet on Wednesday, 14th February, from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. Removal from the residence of her son Liam in Butlersbridge on Thursday morning at 10.20am to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. House private please.
