Kathleen Corrigan (née Sexton) Retired Chiropodist, 12 Bellview Drive, Station Road, Cootehill, Co. Cavan Friday 23rd February 2024 peacefully at the residence of her daughter Regina Clarke, Seefin, Bailieboro A82 N620. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Francis, her grandson Neil Corrigan (Navan), Son-in-law Michael Clarke (Seefin), Sister Judy and Brother Pat. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Leonard (Martina), Barry (Katherine), Daughter Regina, her cherished 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and a large circle of friends.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) this Saturday from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Sunday morning leaving her daughter Regina Clarke’s residence at 10.30am to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Cootehill for 11.30am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Middle Chapel Cootehill.

June Egan (née Wearen) 7 Islean, Ballyjamesduff, county Cavan on the 23rd February 2024. Pre-deceased by her parents Phillis and Seamus, Patrick Egan her devoted husband of 61 years and her brothers Terence and Pierre. Deeply regretted by her sisters Stephanie and Medeline, brothers Paul, Sean and Noel. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Karen, Amanda, Martina and Claire and her son David, her adored grandchildren Sophie, Ryan and Orla and great-grandchildren Courtner, Tyler, Milo, Leo, Darragh, Daniel, Lukas, Ava, Ryan, Robyn, Rhea and Cillian.

Reposing at Matthews funeral home, Virginia (A82YV58) on Monday 26th February from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff, on Tuesday, 27th February, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the new cemetery.

Philip Cooney, Monaghanoose, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan died on the 23rd February 2024 peacefully at Shrewsbury House Nursing Home, Dublin. Predeceased by parents Phil and Bridie and brothers Eamon and Kieran.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Patrick (Rose), Michael (Colleen), Paul (Brenda), Brendan, Gabriel (Ann), Raymond (Mary Rose), sisters Breda, Mary (Michael) and Sheila (Jim), nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

The Death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) West, Straghan, Sliverstream, Co. Monaghan, Friday, February 23rd. Peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Maureen, his mother Nora and father Peter. Michael, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his children, sons Michael (Dianne), Patrick (Margaret) Colin and Declan, daughters Catherine (Peter), Maureen (Liam) his cherished grandchildren, brothers and sister.

Michael will repose at his residence in Straghan, Sliverstream (H18X098), today, Saturday, from 2pm until 8pm and again tomorrow, Sunday, from 2pm until 8pm. Michael's funeral cortège will travel from his residence on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Macartan's Cathedral Monaghan (via the Emyvale Rd) for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Latlurcan Cemetery.

House private at all other times and on the morning of the funeral, please.

Maureen Hughes

(née McCartan)

Newry, Down / Monaghan

Hughes (nee McCartan) Maureen, died peacefully, on 23rd February 2024, at the Mercy Home, Newry. Formerly of Patrick Street, Newry, and of Chestnut Lodge, Laragh, Co. Monaghan. Pre-deceased by her parents, Robert and Agnes McCartan (nee McGrath), Rostrevor, her husband Frank Hughes, and her siblings Helen Kearney, Bernadette Murray and Frank McCartan. Greatly missed by her children: Peter (Newry), Aidan (Ravensdale), Dermot (Warrenpoint), Caroline (Newry) and Allison Kirwan (Durrow), her grandchildren: Alex and Jools Hughes, Aishling and Rory Kirwan, her daughter-in-law Jane and son in law Patrick, and all her extended family.

Reposing at McAnulty’s Funeral Home, 35 Church Street, Warrenpoint, Co. Down. Wake to be held at the funeral home on Sunday, 25th February 2024, from 6pm to 9pm. Removal on Monday, 26th February 2024, at 11:30am arriving at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor for 12pm Requiem Mass (churchservices.tv) followed by interment in Kilbroney Cemetery.
