Storm Kathleen makes landfall

Storm Kathleen arrives bringing very strong and gusty southerly winds to all areas tomorrow, with severe and damaging gusts in the south and west during the morning and afternoon.

“Strong gales on coasts with coastal flooding and wave overtopping likely. Frequent showers will move northeastwards across the country in the morning and continue through the day,” say Met Eireann, who predict highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.

Saturday Night though will see clear spells and scattered heavy showers.

Very windy though and unsettled with strong and gusty southerly winds, especially strong along western counties.

Lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees.
