Predominately dry at first. Turning more unsettled through Sunday and into early next week. That's the latest weather outlook from Met Éireann.
Dry today with spells of sunshine. There is a slight chance of an isolated shower in the south. Highest temperatures will range from a cool 12 degrees in the east, due to a moderate easterly breeze, to 19 or 20 degrees in the west.
Dry and mostly clear overnight. Cloudier for a time in the southwest with the chance of a few light showers. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees generally, possibly a little lower locally, in light easterly or variable breezes with a few mist or fog patches developing.
Dry and sunny tomorrow morning though some cloud will develop through the day bringing the chance of a few showers, most likely in the west and southwest. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees generally, a little cooler near some coasts in a light southerly or variable breeze.
Dry and clear for most Friday night. A little cloudier in parts of the west and southwest with the chance of the odd light shower continuing. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 9 degrees, coolest in the southwest, in light southerly or variable breezes with some areas of fog developing.
Any fog will clear through Saturday morning to leave a mostly dry day with spells of sunshine though with some cloud at times and a greater chance of some showers, most likely for Atlantic coastal counties. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in a light southerly or variable breeze.
Dry and largely clear overnight on Saturday. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees in light variable breezes. Some areas of fog will develop again.
There is some uncertainty in the details but indications are that it will be mostly dry and sunny at first on Sunday before showers or showery outbreaks of rain develop through the day with some heavy falls possible. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees with a moderate northerly wind developing.
A mild night overnight on Sunday with further showers or showery outbreaks of rain. Temperatures will not fall below 8 to 11 degrees in moderate northeasterly winds, fresher near western coasts.
Showers or showery outbreaks of rain are likely to continue through much of the day on Monday. Generally driest and sunniest in the north where it will be warmest. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees generally in a moderate northeast or east wind. The rain and showers will continue overnight but they will ease. Temperatures will not fall below 8 to 12 degrees.
There is a signal for improving conditions as the showers clear southwards through the day as mostly dry and sunny conditions in the north become more widespread. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees generally in a mostly moderate easterly wind.
