Lazy, hazy days of summer

The fine weather will continue through the weekend, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures into the high teens or low twenties.

A dry, warm, and sunny day today (Thursday). Highest temperatures of 19 to 25 degrees, warmest in the west, but a little cooler along the east coast due to a light easterly wind.

Dry with clear skies tonight. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with light east to northeast or variable winds.

Tomorrow (Friday) will be another warm and sunny day. Highest temperatures of 18 to 24 degrees generally but cooler towards the east coast due to a light to moderate easterly breeze.

Dry with clear skies overnight on Friday. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 11 degrees with a light northeasterly or variable wind.

Remaining sunny and warm on Saturday. Highest temperatures generally of 17 to 22 or 23 degrees, with coolest conditions again in eastern coastal counties, in light to moderate easterly breezes.

Continuing dry with clear skies again overnight on Saturday. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees, with light easterly breezes.

Widespread sunshine continuing through the day on Sunday. Highest temperatures of 20 to 24 with light to moderate northerly winds.

Monday: Likely remaining mostly dry with long sunny spells, with the possibility of some light showers pushing west through the day. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees, in moderate northeasterly winds.

Current indications suggests that it will continue settled and warm for the early days of next week with temperatures in the high teens or low twenties.
