Cavan business selected for Lidl Kickstart programme
A Cavan business is among those selected to join Lidl's 2025 Kickstart Supplier Development Programme.
Brand Mary-Ellen's Meadow from Cavan will bring their exclusive Wild Soft Drinks made with handpicked wild fruit, flowers and herbs to Lidl's shelves.
Based in Corkish, Bailieborough, Rose Carolan Daveluy's passion for the outdoors led her to commercialising the cordial business in 2015.
She began introducing her products to customers at farmer's markets and later bigger events like the Tase of Cavan, Bord Bia and Bloom.
Now in its ninth year, the Kickstart programme offers small producers a unique opportunity to get their products on Lidl store shelves and benefit from the market-leading retailer’s dedicated support.
Alongside the in-store presence, Kickstart suppliers will benefit from a comprehensive six-month development programme.
This includes expert guidance from Lidl’s commercial and marketing teams on scaling production, improving efficiency and optimising packaging, ensuring that products are retail ready.
Welcoming the Kickstart Class of ‘25, Kate O’Driscoll, Supplier Development Manager at Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland praised the Irish food producers’ scene saying it "has never been more vibrant."
